Hua Yan had slept soundly for four whole days and nights before she finally awoke.
When she opened her eyes, Yun Chi was sitting beside her, reviewing documents. She stared blankly at Yun Chi.
As soon as she opened her eyes, Yun Chi turned his head towards her. She noticed that Hua Yan's face looked utterly confused, her eyes clouded with a dense fog, layer upon layer, gathering at the bottom of her eyes, almost obscuring the usual clarity, purity, cheerfulness, or smiling expression.
He watched her quietly, without making a sound.
Hua Yan stared at Yun Chi for a moment, then suddenly closed her eyes again.
Yun Chi was taken aback and couldn't help but speak out softly, calling, "Hua Yan."
Hua Yan did not respond.
