Chapter 6 - Chapter 6: Reunion

Mr. William introduced Tyler to everyone in the meeting, his voice booming with pride. "Ladies and gentlemen, may I present to you my son, Tyler, oh I think I said that earlier but I'm just too overwhelmed." He said, a wide smile on his face. Tyler stood there, feeling a mix of disbelief and excitement as the room erupted in applause.

As the meeting progressed, Tyler's mind was filled with a whirlwind of emotions. He listened intently to the discussions and proposals, trying to absorb as much information as he could about this new family of his. It was overwhelming to be a part of such an important gathering, surrounded by influential individuals who believed in him.

He couldn't help but feel a sense of imposter syndrome. How did he, a young man who had just found out about his new found wealth, deserve to be in the same room as these successful businessmen and women? But he brushed aside those doubts and focused on the task at hand.

The discussion went on for hours, with Tyler actively participating and sharing his ideas even though they didn't make too much sense. He was surprised by how well his suggestions were received, and it boosted his confidence. It was clear that his perspective and fresh ideas were valued in the room.

After the meeting concluded, Tyler approached Mr. William, who was still engaged in conversation with some of the attendees. He tapped him on the shoulder and said, "can I have a minute of your time." He nodded and shifted to the side with him.

"Mr. William, if you don't mind, I'd like to go back to my house," Tyler said, his voice filled with uncertainty. "I'm still trying to process everything that has happened today."

Mr. William looked at him with concern, his eyes filled with affection. "Tyler, my son, I understand your hesitation. But I can't let you go back to the streets. You're part of this family now," he said firmly.

Tyler felt a mix of gratitude and stubborn independence. He didn't want to be a burden, and he didn't want to rely on anyone. But he also knew that he needed time to process everything.

Without saying a word, Mr. William led Tyler towards the exit of the meeting hall. Outside, a Bentley car and a driver were waiting. The driver opened the door for them, revealing the opulence of the vehicle. Tyler couldn't help but be amazed by the elegance and grandeur.

As they settled into the plush seats, the car glided through the streets, heading towards an affluent neighborhood. Tyler's eyes widened as they stopped in front of a massive building, surrounded by a high gate.

The house was a sight to behold. It stood tall and majestic, exuding wealth and luxury. The gate was intricately designed with ornate patterns and a grand entrance. Tyler couldn't help but feel a pang of envy. He had always dreamed of living in a house like this, but he never thought it would become a reality.

He stepped out of the car, his eyes taking in every detail of the magnificent house. The exterior was adorned with expensive materials, the architecture reflecting elegance and sophistication. He couldn't believe that this would be his new home.

As he walked through the gate, the beautiful view beyond it took his breath away. The sprawling gardens, the shimmering pool, and the scenic landscape were like something out of a dream. He felt a mix of awe and disbelief as he stepped foot into the house.

The interior of the house was a testament to opulence and extravagance. Every room was meticulously designed, even though he couldn't see them clearly he could tell they had exquisite furniture, dazzling chandeliers, and priceless artwork. Tyler couldn't help but feel like he had entered a different world, one that he had only seen in movies.

He explored every corner of the house, his excitement growing with each step. He couldn't believe that this was now his home, a place where he could build a future and make a difference. It was a stark contrast to the life he had known just a few days ago, and he was determined to make the most of it.

"My grandson is finally here." An old woman came out of her room immediately. She ran and hugged Tyler planting kisses on his face, "my grandson." Tears started rolling off her eyes.

"I wasn't in support when your King's men decided to send you away, I'm so sorry my boy." Sobs could be heard, Tyler, feeling her sincerity hugged her back, "I want to hear the story." He muttered.

"It's a long story but I'd just like to tell you that you are my grandson because I believe Jacob has already told you everything…if you don't believe me then I'd show you your birth certificate." She said pulling him along with her she took him to her room.

"Wow! It's true!" Tyler loud out in shock on seeing his name, date of birth and everything he knew and more about his birth.

"I didn't lie, you are my grandson, your father here didn't let me see you, he would always bring me photos." She took out the photos and gave it to him, "you see for yourself." Tyler took the photos and smiled to himself, "I am truly the son of a rich man." He smiled to himself.

"My boy, I think you should rest and leave your grandma to rest as well. We both have a long day tomorrow." Mr Williams who has been standing unnoticed finally spoke out.

As Tyler stood in the grand hallway, taking in the beauty around him, he couldn't help but feel a sense of scammer vibe, but if it was true he knew that he had been given a second chance, a chance to create a meaningful life for himself and others.

Tyler vowed to use his wealth and influence for a greater purpose. He would support persons that were close to his heart, help those in need, make those who humiliated him pay, and make a positive impact on the world.

As the sunlight streamed through the windows, casting a warm glow on the polished floors, Tyler smiled to himself. He was ready to embark on this new chapter of his life, ready to make a difference, and ready to create a legacy that would be remembered for generations to come.
