One would think humans in emergencies would form pacts to help each other but many times this is used to harm the others instead, I think of this as my spear rips through more people with a undeniable ease that makes me far more uncomfortable then any monster I have ever killed as many of these men are simple conscripts forced to fight not even having lifted a weapon before.
But to have as little suffering and death as possible it is best to keep the war as short as possible, so I do not hesitate with each swing done with intent for a life and my mana enhancing those around me.
I use little of my stamina while causing the most damage I am able to, I see the people who clutch items in their hands when they see my approach but continue my rampage.
By the set of the sun that day nearly fifty wounded on our side and 10 dead but for them the loss of this battle must far exceed ours as the amount I killed nearly equaled our injured numbers and that was only the ones I killed, I can the looks of respect and excitement sent my way after they watched me in true battle.
At night we celebrate our victory and begin talks on the next attack, Bellos is a decent strong hold in the northern region for grain exports and trade so by taking it we cut both a good section of supplies to the northern army and prevent gold from flowing in the region.
We march towards the fort which is a stone fort covered in archer spots and ballista's enchanted to increase range and accuracy.
I have the memories from the person I am now in control of and know that the sewers of the place can be traversed to enter and exit for the soldiers stationed here, he was once here and knew it as many forced him to head out to the town only five miles walk from here to get things for them.
He also knew that no one guarded it as so to have deniability to any contrabands brought in if anyone is caught with it.
I lead a force of nearly a hundred through the system and when we enter we begin to burn everything but the grain storages which we intend to take for ourselves but the weapons depot and military quarters are burned, we raise havoc with a massive force of nearly 500 waiting outside for us to open the gate.
The north gate drops as I pull the leaver having killed the guards here, I look at the body lying on the ground next to the leaver and walk away with my fist balled.
The fighting lasted until day break when the siege ended and those that surrendered where taken as prisoners, I look to the burned buildings and worry over the villagers here but know nothing can be done until this war is over for them.
I keep a close eye on the soldiers to make sure none take what they shouldn't or touch where they aren't allowed, but for the most part they dislike the weak women of the stellar empire.
We begin to reorganize the remaining supplies and begin to look through the rubble for what can be used for ourselves, the forge is still here and we have plenty of grain thanks to avoiding it mostly during the raid.
Iron scraps and still usable wood are gathered for usage while anything unusable is either burned to ash or melted together with something.
They place soldiers on the walls and guard the entrances we can find while having patrols for in case we missed anything, By the end of our first week of true war we have fully sieged a military fort and gained footholds all over the northern territory through the many soldiers scattered around fighting.
My first letter from Wyatt since I joined arrives and it tells me to deal with the transport and accounting of food and different supplies, he has relegated me to remain in the Bellos fort and do desk duties.
I groan and the people with me look to the letter and give me looks of sympathy as they know I cannot disobey such a direct order, I am now out of the fight.
I shift through papers after papers sent my way as we begin to filter supplies all over the northern section of the stellar empire using the hidden roads and routes I have memorized from trade books and from the memories of this section, many look at the mass of papers and numbers and decide the chief did the right thing by giving this to me as they see the transport go from barely functioning to country level in a month.
I know I am good at this but it is from my experience in the earlier floors not natural talent, please just let me fight instead of sitting here shifting through papers.
Wyatt has complete control of the north territory within four months of the start of war a mass show of strength to completely overwhelm the stellar empires biggest military section, we decide it is best to get the other territories before going to the capital as we can set up choke points to stop nobles from fleeing this way.
Th eastern territory is claimed at the 10th month mark and the east at the year and a half mark, we already have the agreement with the south and so all that remains is the capital, it falls in a mere months time.
A entire empire has fallen in less then a year and a half to the might of the northern tribes and many other countries feel fear but soon remember the contracts and offer them for non-aggression packs, I review all of them and make sure no one tries to cheat us out of anything and even haggle with some that helped the stellar empire behind the scenes to a higher then average price.
I now stand in front of the southern castle once more after the marriage off and the twins stand in front of me 13 years of age and only two more needed for their coming of age celebrations, they can soon be officially named heir of the southern throne meaning in two years time my task will be finished and all that will be left is aiding Wyatt.
A rapid increase in land like this as well as foreign beliefs will bring trouble but as long as they are protected and can thrive it will subside, meaning from this point on diplomacy is the most critical thing.
He meets with different representatives and slowly begins to rebuild the power structure to fit both the northers belief in strength and the stellar kingdoms old belief in bloodlines.
He can see the slow rise and fall of the troubles brought by each new law and regulation, but the biggest change was with both dual gender rights and the rights of peasants as all peasants have the right to learn combat arts and hold position if they are capable enough for it and the regulation that any heirs to a land must pass a test of competency to have the right of inheritance and the test is written by me covering the basics of land running and how to deal with taxes.
The boys are even forced to take it with another person grading it to prove all heirs need to take it, slowly the kingdom changes and a new name is needed as the northern tribes or stellar kingdom are not viable names.
The Tribunal kingdom as only those who have undergone tests and passed will stand at the top here, he looks at the boys now 20 years of age and standing in the church one to receive the crown and the other to support his twin.
Chimon stands proudly before everyone here with a crown of grain resting on his head instead of one of gold, it is a statement for all that he sees the wheat as worth more then gold.
I see Wyatt standing to the side and he looks at me and smiles.
We return to our chambers together and Wyatt is looking at his screen, he then looks to me and says "My task is complete, we can leave now if you wish."
I almost want to stay and enjoy the life we made but our world is home and although here is nice it isn't home, we both choose to leave the tower with the task done to update the government on this floor.
Just before we head off Wyatt pulls me to him and kisses me before disappearing and I follow.
