Gardenia (now known as COSTA), this place was usually described as two things; one was the "GARDEN OF FORTUNE"meaning that for some once they step their feet in the country, they would be favored and be blessed with a bright future and the second name being "GARDEN OF MISFORTUNE"with the name you would already guess what it means, for some once they step their feet in the country, it would only bring them misfortune, despair, grief,, pain, sorrow and finally if they couldn't handle it would perish without a sign or trace..
 But before the country was brimming with people searching for reasons for living and it's popularity shot up, there was an incident that caused Gardenia to prosper. One day about two centuries ago, a bright light,, unreasonably bright, shone on the country for about two days according to those who lived there but all of a sudden the light suddenly disappeared without a trace like the way it came, the higher powers then like the Royal Family and the Council searched for the source of the light but came up empty, then about a week later, the same bright light appeared all the world and people from different lands began having mysterious abilities, at first they were labelled as monsters or witches and were hunted and later killed but as time went on people realized that it was a gift bestowed upon them by the gods and so began to adapt with these mysterious abilities as if it was part of their daily lives but as the quote says "With great power comes great responsibility"there was a clash between those who used it for the betterment of the society and those who used it for their selfish gain and so the Royal Family and the Council created a law that was to help keep those who possessed these abilities in check and the name of this law was"DAZAI "(but now is an organization) . DAZAI was established to give rights to certain permitted individuals to look further into the origin of the mysterious bright light and what caused it but came up with nothing however they found out the reason why the people began having mysterious abilities and their results stated that the light which shone on the whole world only affected the people because with series of tests they found out that neither plant nor animal were affected by the light and so came up with a theory "That Man being more advanced than were able to accept the foreign radiation which then changed their genes thereby giving them abilities which is genetic", they presented this theory to the Royal Families all over the world and which made them to send representatives in order to find out the origin of the light and that was how"DAZAI ORGANIZATION "was formed.
