Alpha's initial assault was a success, yet he didn't allow the Tiger Hunting Demon Whale any reprieve, once again swinging the Sword of the Wind Chaser to compound their victory.
The sheer size of the Tiger Hunting Demon Whale was staggering, so much so that even a full-strength attack from Alpha had not been able to inflict any critical damage.
The only gain seemed to be the infuriation of this gargantuan creature.
The Tiger Hunting Demon Whale rose in the water, its large, towering black fin shimmered menacingly. As the surrounding waves churned rapidly, they coalesced into a massive water spear that lunged at Alpha.
Seeing this, Alpha did not resist head-on. With a single swing of the Sword of the Wind Chaser, the water spear was cleaved neatly in two.
However, after passing Alpha, the two halves of the water spear re-formed and continued their knowing journey towards the moving outpost.
