Driving back to my office and the minute I get up to the floor; Daniel is there sitting tapping his foot until he sees me. "Finally. What took you so fucking long!" Daniel asked getting up from the seat; sighing "follow me." I said walking past him going into my office and closing the door behind me. "I was talking to someone who caught my eye but she's playing hard ball. So why the fuck are you here?" I asked annoyed walking to my desk and sitting down. "I meet someone too but she showed me up in front of my old man and my men. I wanted to go after her but my old man kept me back to tell me something that I still don't believe." Daniel said as I watched him walking to the chair in front of my desk.
"What's so hard to believe on what your father said this time?" I asked "he told me that the girl he saw reminded him of a woman who was like no other. I think my father is going insane and that I need to get him checked out but he told me that she was a dragon shifter." Daniel said and I looked at him weird; "man dragons don't exists except in fairytales for kids and in the world of make believe." I said, "Nick, I'm being for real. I said the same thing until my old man gave me this to prove that what he said was right." Daniel said placing a crystal ball on the desk I only arched my eyebrows at him but before I could say something a projection came from the ball; a woman similar to Lisa was out in a field surrounded by flowers "Adam! isn't this field amazing? I had to show you." the girl called Adam's name the projection continued "Spikes, slow down love this field isn't going anywhere. Why did you want to come out to the field for?" Adam asked "You always asked why I'm good at fighting and how I survived that stabbing a while ago. I want you to keep this a secret, can you do that for me?" Spikes asked "of course, my love." Adam said sweetly. Soon there was smoke around the woman named Spikes and soon there wasn't a human standing there it was a dragon as big as the field with smoke coming from the nose and soon smoke was around the dragon again changing its for; Spikes stood there again but with wings on her back, "Spikes?" Adam's voice called out.
"I told you that I was very different. I'm known as the ruler of the dragons empire, a dragons skin is a lot harder to pierce and we heal at a much faster rate as well. Do you want to see the view that I see when I fly?" Spikes asked and Adam's reply was yes then the projection cut out.
"What the fuck? that was real? she looks so much like Lisa or should I say that Lisa looks a lot like her." I said and Daniel took back the crystal; "who the fuck is Lisa?" Daniel asked, "that woman spikes, it must be her daughter. Because I met a girl just like her like looking into a mirror." I said "how in the fuck is that possible, that's over 60 years ago." Daniel said but I took out my phone to show him a picture of Lisa
"How?" Daniel asked "That's her. The one who embarrassed me in front of my men. She looks just like spikes. How is that possible?" Daniel was in shock. "She was at the restaurant that we share together. She was with a twig and flipped me off, does your father have anymore of these crystals? maybe there's more to the story of this spike woman." I asked "You know my father Nick, he's not really forth coming when it comes to information about his past." Daniel said and I knew all too well what he meant by that; Adam De Luca was a man of few words but gave off the aura of 'don't you dare test me'
"Another thing my old man told me was that dragons age differently than humans do. He said that Spikes was in her 2,000 year and that she would 4,500 year now. Which still makes me scratch my head." Daniel said "someone from my i.t department told me that she was heading either towards the beach or the airport. I'm betting my money on the airport. I doubt she'd still be there but where would she be going?" I asked and I shot a message to i.t again but only to tell me he lost sight of her after a while at the airport. "well my guy lost sight of her from the airport. Where did she go?" I asked, "Well my father also said that Spikes used magic like a lot, if that's her daughter maybe she can use magic too." Daniel said and there was a chance that it could be true, I mean I juts saw a woman turn into a dragon and then to a woman with wings and horns." After seeing that projection I'm willing to believe anything now but don't know where she's going." I said before I say anything else to him there was a knock at the door gritting my teeth I called out "Who is it?!" I said with a bit more anger in my tone
"I'm sorry to interrupt you sir, but there's a note that's for you from an L.D. The sender didn't give me their name just their initials." Sandra said and I wondered how the fuck L.D knew where I was. "It's fine give me the note and if there is anything else coming from an L.D give them to me." I said and Sandra came into my office to give me the note and as she turned around Daniel slapped her ass but not before she returned the favor of slapping his cheek and walked away. I laughed that I doubled over "mother fucker that's not funny." Daniel said rubbing his cheek "Sandra is different from my last receptions. Her family runs a self defense class and she has had her fair share of handsy people and I told her that if there was a client or anyone being rude or aggressive she was aloud to slap them. That was no-shit Sandra, she does her job well that's why I kept around." I said calming down from laughing but looking down at the note.
'You and Daniel need to stop following me it's getting on my last two good nerves. When you two morons can stop being ass holes and creeps I'll let you know where to find me but for the time being Fuck off. Do I make myself clear, Jesus it's like telling 5 year olds the meaning of the word no.' -L.D
"Well fuck me." I said giving Daniel the note and he looked back at me; "she got us there. Let's hold off on finding her." Daniel said and I agreed somehow she knew where to find me and Daniel if she really wanted to.
