Kai wasn't the least bothered hearing the lowered voices coming from the front door, but his interest was piqued when he heard the name 'Mr. Morris'. He remembered that name as it belonged to Aidens' father. He wondered what they were talking about it. His curiosity got the best of him.
Gently, he pushed the chair back in order not to make too much noise and got up from the dinner table. His feet padded quietly across the cold tiles until he got to the door where he saw Donovan stand with two bulky men in black suits.
He recognised one of them... the taller one and a felling of dread washed over him when he recalled where he had seen him. He paled, but it was too late to turn back now.
