For the past few days Leo won't let me do anything no even feed myself " Leo isn't this princess treatment too much you won't even let me feed myself" I complained " Oh I'm sorry the doctor said not to stress yourself I don't know am over petting you" He said with a low voice " Tomorrow is the fashion show" Searching for my phone to call Mara " What fashion show" Leo asked confused " Mara's first runway in this city" I answered with a ' Your not a caring/loving at all' Look.
He laughs, I called Mara and asked about her preparing for the runaway tomorrow, I slept the rest of the day. Finally it was time to go Leo couldn't come cause he had to attend am important meeting, I meet Mara at backstage and she's was feeling nervous " Hey breath... you gonna do great trust me" I said encouraging her. It was time for the runway I sat down on the first roll and damnn this models are amazing, I was waiting patiently for mara to walk in, when I was her turn to walk in I noticed the chandelier was shaking which is odd as she was about to walk out the chandelier fell off " Mara watch out" I screamed ran and jumped pushing her to the other direction. I heard screams, my sight is getting blurry I passed out.
Leo's POV
After the meeting I went to my office to roundup a project before going to the fashion show to meet Sky and Mara, While working I got a call " Hello Mr Leo please your present is needed in the city hospital" The caller said " Why, what's wrong" I asked worried " Your girlfriend and sister are admitted into the hospital, during the runway the chandelier fell off lucky Miss Skyler was there to save Miss Mara and they both passed out" Fuck!!!! I should have gone with her immediately I took my car keys went straight to the hospital " Are you Mr Leo" the doctor asked "Yes doc" I answered " Please follow me to my office".
I follow him to his off and sat down "How are they doing" I asked you could hear the worries in my voice " There's good and bad news, which one do you want to hear first" I became nervous " The good new" I said waiting for his response " Your sister and girlfriend only has minor injurys " Thank God " Okay and they bad new??" Waiting for his response " we couldn't save your baby, Miss Sky has a miscarriage I'm sorry" my mood darken 'Noo!!!! Not my unborn baby' I cried inside of me.
I stood up, headed straight to Sky's ward she's asleep and looks beautiful as always I let her sleep be walking out of her ward, * In Mara's ward* "How are you feeling" I asked her she noticed my mood " I'm okay, just a minor injury what's wrong??" she sounds worried "How's Skyler, Leo she saved my life" tearing up I hugged her " Tell me how's she" She asked again " She's fine but had a miscarriage" She was shocked " She's was pregnant, how come I never knew about it" She asked with a low voice " She planed on breaking the news to you after your runway" I broken down I couldn't hold I anymore, she hugs me " I have never seen you cry Leo, sky won't like of she know you cried" she wipes my tears " How will I break the news to her" " "What news" someone said I looked up and it was Rose " Who's she" Mara asked " She's Sky's best friend" I tried to introduce them to each other but Rose didn't give me a chance to do so.
" Where's she" Rose asked with a worried voice " The next ward" I answered with a low voice " What's the new you don't know how to tell Sky??" she asked again ' I don't know if I should tell her, she has the right to know' I said to myself. " She had a miscarriage while Saving Mara's life" I said also breaking down again " Fuck!!! This isn't good" She murmurs and walks out of the ward. I stay with Mara still she sleep off and headed to Sky's ward.
I walked up to her " How are you feeling?" I asked look worried, she's looks pale " I'm fine, how's mara" She she asked I gave her a nod and she understood " I've something to tell her" She looks at me " Ok, Am all ears" i became nervous I held her hand" you have miscarriage, baby we can make another baby whenever you're ready" I said trying to console her, She turned to the other direction I can hear her sobing, I'm trying hard not to break down again Rose noticed i was about to break down again " Can you leave us Leo, I want to talk to be her alone" I nodded. and walked out of her ward.
I made a phone call " I want this matter investigated right now and I want to see the culprit before tomorrow" Ends the call, I headed out to buy food for them. They were later discharged the same say " I want to stay with Rose" Sky said to me, I nodded She got into Rose's Car " Don't take it to heart she needs some space" Rose said before getting into the drivers sit and drove off.
Immediately I got a phone " We got him boss" I rushed into my car and went Straight to the underground base, they tied to a chair *Walks round him* " If you don't want anything to happen to your family especially your youngest daughter you answer my questions" He nodes with fear Who sent you to cit the chandelier??" I asked with seriousness " Miss Betty James" I gave one of men a questioning look and immediately he understood it " Miss Betty James is one of the models, according to my investigation she grew hatred for Miss Mara cause she got the role of ' Face of the brand' i lifted my hands for him to stop.
"Why did you do it" I asked " I needed the money for my youngest daughter surgery she has heart failure" He answered crying, I looks at my men, they responded with a nods confirming what he said is true, " Take him daughter to the Best hospital for treatment, book them flights to leave the country Immediately" I commanded them and they all got to work, I called tm assistant "Make James company go bankrupt and sue Betty for trying to commit murder" he responded with " Yes Sir" I walked out of the base.
I got home drunk, I knocked on Sky's door she opened I entered inside " I thought you've left me" I said while throwing myself on the bed " Get your ass out of my bad, Go get a shower or use the door" She yells at me, i didas she said took a shower " Did I offend you in anyway baby?, I know your hurt cause of the miscarriage but am also in pain " I said breaking down, she hugs me, I hugged her back " I'm sorry Mama, please forgive me in anyway I offend you" I pleaded, We went to bed.
