Chapter 75 - Chapter 74: The reason for grail's disappearance

(Titus's POV)

"So..."

!!!

I spoke, and everyone flinched. Why, you ask? They had just witnessed me imparting a lesson (through somewhat aggressive means) to a little girl. In the mansion, every eye—Shirou, Rin, Sakura, and even Head Medb—caught a glimpse of my less amiable side.

Presently, I sat at the main table, with Medb positioned to my right. Another presence joined us—a petite figure bound by heavy chains, bearing a swollen, disfigured face—the little girl, the former demon inside Sakura, and the Indian god of love, Kama.

"Everyone, meet Kama, the Indian god of love and also my servant from another timeline," I clarified, gesturing towards the restrained child.

[Kama registered as Assassin Class servant in Main Panel.]

She served as my primary Assassin class servant, akin to Nero and Caster in their capacities. Let's connect some dots.

[Kamadeva, also known as Kama, is the God of Love in Indian mythology. Traditionally male, Kama manifested as a female Pseudo-Servant in Sakura Matou's body, likely due to her "special characteristic" and the influence of another goddess who shares a Pseudo-Servant connection.

Having been defeated by Ritsuka Fujimaru in the FGO timeline, she was summoned as your Assassin class servant in the Moon Cell Holy Grail War and emerged victorious.

1st Ascension: 8-year-old child's body (Level 25)

2nd Ascension: 16-year-old teen's body (Level 50)

3rd Ascension: Adult body (Your current level)

Servant Kama, inhabiting a humanoid form, remains in your service. However, due to her violent tendencies, she's been restrained. She cannot attack, engage in combat without your command, or sustain existence without your magical power.]

[Please spend time with Kama to discover her true desire.]

This intel was all I had gleaned from my system—a rather buggy one, to be frank. It didn't clarify how I managed to summon Kama from an alternate timeline or how she found her way into Sakura's current form. Waiting seemed my sole recourse.

Early rewards came my way, too.

[Following Kama's discovery by the host, the system detected an anomaly. Consequently, you've been granted the following rewards:

1. Skill Copier Card

2. Moon Cell Rank 2 (Upgrade)]

The skill copier promised immense potential. I could replicate any skill or ability, such as Shirou's sword manifestation, potentially accessing UBW. I will use it later

As for the upgraded Moon Cell system, that needed further exploration.

Presently, my focus lay on immediate concerns.

"EII!" Kama, my Assassin-class servant, shrieked as my gaze landed on her. Understandably so, considering the harsh treatment she received from me. I found myself surprised by my own anger. Sure, in the London dreamshift, I'd get a little irritated and maybe spank some kids, but never had I unleashed such fury on a child. I was well aware that Kama wasn't truly a child inside, yet I couldn't rationalize raising my hand like that.

My body seemed driven to torment Kama for at least a century. I was desperate to uncover what transpired between us in the Moon Cell Holy Grail War.

"So that's how Kama ended up in Sakura's body," I explained, detailing Kama's manifestation as a servant and her connection to me. Rising from my seat, I bowed to Sakura. "Sakura, it was my fault that you had to endure that. I apologize and will accept any punishment."

"Please raise your head, Nii-san!" Sakura leaped from her seat. "You're my big brother and my savior. What happened to me was unfortunate, but I won't blame my big brother for anything."

Her words lifted my head, and I nodded gratefully. Despite everything that had transpired, her willingness to still see me as her big brother brought immense joy.

"Titus, even in the Moon Cell, without a soul, you were undeniably kind. Kama's manifestation is an anomaly, so you can't be blamed," Shirou chimed in.

"But why did this god of love manifest in Sakura's body? She could have chosen others," Rin interjected with a question.

"That's precisely why we're here," I replied, settling back into my seat. "What I'm about to explain is a 'what if' scenario where I wouldn't have intervened, and the 5th Holy Grail War occurred."

With those words, I delved into the Heaven's Feel route of Fate/Stay Night, painting a vivid picture of the alternate reality.

Back to the question raised in Chapter 1: Why did I wish for the Grail to remove itself from this reality, as if it had never existed? It was because the world I was born into was the Heaven's Feel timeline.

Upon my arrival in Fuyuki City with Rin for the 5th Holy Grail War, I initially thought it would follow the first route, which seemed relatively safe. However, witnessing Zouken Matou summon True Assassin made me acutely aware of the grave danger. When the real Grail materialized before me, I made the snap decision to rid this world of its corrupted presence forever. Why did I wish for its removal? I didn't want to gamble with the storyline—I had already intervened, disrupting the plot.

With the Grail gone, Sakura was saved, and the Grail vanished from this world eternally.

Following this revelation, everyone was once again stunned. They hadn't realized that the seemingly innocent girl could possess such destructive potential.

"I see. I guess it was for the best," Rin smiled, relieved by my wish. "I was only participating in the war out of my own competitive desire to become the winner. I never knew what kind of hell I was stepping into."

"Same here, and once again, I am thankful to you, Titus," Shirou expressed his gratitude but then sighed. "But was my intimate scene with Sakura necessary?"

Sakura blushed, taken aback by such a detailed mention of their intimate moment.

"Of course, it was to maintain the audience's suspense. Since the story was mostly dark, I had to include some romantic and heartwarming scenes," I explained, nodding.

"We aren't in some kind of anime," Shirou retorted, but I was tempted to counter his claim about how mistaken he was.

At that moment, Sakura stood from her chair and asked me, "N-nii-san, can I talk to you outside?"

I nodded, and with Shirou's and Rin's approval, Sakura and I stepped out of the mansion.

Soft rays of the setting sun caressed our faces as we gazed at the beautiful sky.

"Nii-san…" Sakura spoke, and a tear slowly trickled down her cheek. "During my time in the Matou Family, I wanted nothing more than someone I could call family. I had a big brother, but he turned out to be a scoundrel, and my blood-related sister turned into a stranger. I thought…"

Tears welled in her eyes as she faced me.

"When I thought all hope was lost, you appeared in my life. You saved me, a stranger, without asking for anything. You've fulfilled my wish in a way no Holy Grail could have granted. You are my hero."

"I see," I smiled and gently wiped a tear from her eye.

"So, please, just this once, I want one final wish," Sakura looked at me with teary eyes. "C-can I continue to call you big brother after what happened between us? Can I still be your little sister?"

I smiled and nodded, "I never once stopped treating you like my little sister. Whatever happened or would happen, I will never hate my sister."

At my words, Sakura beamed a beautiful smile under the dimming sun, and then we embraced. She cried in my arms, expressing her gratitude repeatedly.

Tears escaped my eyes too; I felt happiness for her. I missed my siblings from my past life, so finding someone without involving any romantic feelings brought me joy.

However, after feeling Sakura's humongous baloons against my chest, I pondered if I should have gone for her.

Turning around, I caught Shirou's pouting face.

"What? Can't a brother even hug his sister?" I teased Shirou, who just sighed and shook his head with a smile.

After a few moments, I gently released Sakura and wiped away her tears. After sharing a couple of glances with her, I turned to Shirou.

"Shirou, there's some money I've deposited into your account."

Shirou was puzzled and immediately checked his bank account on his phone. When he saw the number of zeroes, his eyes nearly popped out of their sockets.

"Titus, this is…"

I smiled and nudged Sakura into his arms, "I'm entrusting my sister to you. Go back to your home and live a happy life without any regrets. Find your happy ending." I raised my thumb, "And if anything happens, I'll look after Sakura."

I mean, as a hero of justice and a main character in the Nasuverse, he's bound to get involved in messes. Plus, a single mother Sakura would exude more maturity.

"That's not very reassuring," Shirou rolled his eyes.

I left the couple to talk, eventually kissing each other.

Walking toward Rin, who had her cheeks puffed, I teased her, "Is my tsundere wife feeling jealous?"

"Absolutely not! Humph!" Rin retorted, crossing her arms, trying to hide her average-sized breasts but failing.

Chuckling, I wrapped my arm around her waist and whispered in her ear, "They'll be leaving for Japan, so we'll be alone in this place."

"What...!" And Rin.exe crashed. Her eyes rolled and her words seemed disoriented.

I laughed and then petted her head, "Rin, let's prepare to leave too. It's time for you to seek revenge for your father."

Rin widened her eyes but nodded with a smile, "Got it. For now, I'll prepare dinner for you."

As she was about to go inside, I didn't release her.

"We're husband and wife, even on paper. We might have reservations and unresolved feelings, but that doesn't mean we can't enjoy some dates."

Initially confused, Rin blushed as she realized my implication.

"There's a new hotel a bit further. They have some really delicious meals for couples," I smirked, jingling my car keys. "Wanna go on a long drive?"

"Of course, if you insist," Rin smirked back, and hand in hand, we walked away, leaving for some quality time together.

Aaaaand we forgot the presence of two more individuals in the hall with us—a talking head and a beaten, chained girl.

"So, you also messed with him?" Kama initiated the conversation after a brief silence. She was going to be tied to her chair anyway, so why not try to extract some information from this talking head.

"Yeah, forced myself on him much like what you did," Medb replied, then inquired, "But what the hell did you do to him to make him so angry?"

Medb believed Titus had severely beaten Kama, and she was curious about what kind of rage Titus held for the god of love.

Kama stared at Medb and sighed. How could she explain to Medb that she had tortured Titus in the far side of the Moon Cell for a 1000 years?
