"UNNIE, I'm sorry I can't greet you properly…"
"It's okay, Areum-ah," Mona said worriedly while helping Areum sit on the sofa. "I should be the one apologizing for visiting you on such a short notice."
It was rude of her, but Mona went to Areum and Gavin's house– a penthouse in a luxurious apartment– and only called when she was already there. Fortunately, Areum let her in even though Areum had all the right to turn her down.
She brought a fruit and meat basket for Areum, but she knew it wasn't enough as a peace offering.
"No, Unnie," Areum said while shaking her head. "I was about to call you anyway. But since it's hard for me to go out alone these days, I was planning to ask you to come here. I hesitated because I didn't want to be a bother."
"You will never be a bother to me, Areum-ah," Mona said, sitting next to her dear friend. "Are you alright? Do you need me to do something for you?"
