Witcher, coming out of the bank, suddenly realizes they have an extra man.
"This ..."
Qishi explained flatly, "This is my newly recruited servant, who will be responsible for running errands for us from now on."
The man covering his neck laughed miserably, "Hello Lord Yale."
Why did this servant appear so suddenly?
At first glance, they were locals, and there were still remnants of the poisonous mist on their bodies, but Qishi had even told people the code name they had come here under.
Eleazar mused, turning on his senses.
The opponent was indeed Transcendent, his body was a pitch-black chaos, basically certain that he was an Evil Sequencer, and the most horrifying thing was that there was a round of silver aperture in his neck, lurking silently in the flesh like a neck ring.
Gee, it's a holy light prisoner.
Eleazar asked silently as he glanced with his afterglow at the innocent-looking saintly woman next to him:
"What's your name? What sequence?"
"My name is Lance..."
The man covered his neck and held his tongue for another half day with great reluctance:
"The Demon Sequence..."
Still trying to hide yourself with the Devil's Side sequence?
Eleazar averted his gaze and said flatly, "You have one more chance."
Qishi twisted his head around with a smirk, his palms gently clasped.
The man immediately felt that his head was going to fall off at any moment.
Lance was horrified and hurriedly covered his neck in death and said, "Abyss! It's the Abyssal Sequence, I'm a criminal now!"
But the aura in his neck was still gradually tightening, the flow of blood was blocked, and he covered his suffocating head in agony as he tried his best to say:
"Really! It's true, I'm not lying anymore!"
The Thief of Lies was punished with strangulation, the invisible aura in his neck tightening, the painful choking sensation, and the rapid lack of oxygen to his brain, causing him to hallucinate in his consciousness.
Eleazar looks at Qishi and asks, "Where to next?"
Having brought this angel with him, his original plan to infiltrate alone was long out of the question, and now that he'd grabbed a local Sequencer as a follower, he had no idea what the woman was thinking.
Qishi held his chin, "Well, let's find a place to land first."
Eleazar asked in surprise, "Is the target in this city?"
"I don't know yet, but I'm guessing that if we've just returned from an evacuation, we'll be recuperating in this place for a while."
The two men walked forward as they spoke, and the criminal behind them had his neck suddenly loosened, he gasped as if he had been saved, grabbed the suitcase left on the floor again, and rushed to catch up with the two men.
Qishi turned back slightly, "Do you have any good referrals regarding the house?"
Without thinking, Lance said, "The inner city, it's got the best security and air."
Green Naofu, located in the eastern part of Loran, under the jurisdiction of the Jeweled Star of the 12 states, like most places, is a chaotic metropolis built under the law and is 'affectionately' called Green City by the locals, because when the light of the place is dimmed, a large green fog will emerge, and only in the inner city where there are air purifiers can you have a fresh breath of air. The only way to have a fresh breath is to have an air purifier in the inner city.
But then Qishi thought about it and asked:
"What about places with bad security?"
Lance was instantly taken aback, and returned a bit hesitantly, "That's, of course, the black streets out there, the streets on both sides of the fluorescent wastewater river, the buildings over there are dilapidated, the roads are dirty, basically, no law enforcement officers will come in, over time it's turned into a slum, and the entire scum of the Green City live there."
Qishi thought thoughtfully before finally asking:
"Have any of the big boys been back lately?"
Lance laughed bitterly, "How would we little people know the whereabouts of big people."
Eleazar said faintly, "Bodies and souls..."
"Have there been any mass casualty fights recently?"
"We'll have to check that one out to find out."
Along with the criminal's utterance of these words, Eleazar could perceive that the transcendental activity within the other's body perked up a bit.
No one would be willing to be a prisoner, and this person should be thinking about finding a way to remove the collar immediately after breaking away from them at this point.
Eleazar glances darkly at Qishi but realizes that she is still all smiles.
"Okay, meet us in front of the bank tomorrow at 9:00 a.m. I hope to hear your good news."
Eleazar had no intention of taking the man again to find a house, and the other man was happy to get out of the way and left at once with immense pleasure.
"How far is the control range?"
Qishi cocked his head in the face of Witcher's whispered question.
"How far is what?"
"How you controlled that man ...."
"Oh, that yeah, out of sight."
Eleazar: "..."
He sucked in a breath at once and was ready to go and get the man back.
But Qishi added, "Even though it's said that it can only be controlled in sight, what about that thing that will detonate like a bomb if it's disturbed by any external force."
"He probably won't be able to take it down for the rest of his life without the help of an Acolyte or a highly skilled Transcendental Surgery, so feel free to let him try it out, only after he's completely recognized the reality of the situation will he be able to run errands for us with peace of mind."
Confused, Eleazar asked, "Can transcendental surgery be undone as well? How superb does it need to be to do that?"
"Well, 4 stories high~"
Qishi turned her head to look at him and smiled, "Why don't I put one on you too?"
Legendary level transcendental healer?
Eleazar narrowed his eyes and added, "You're leaving out the possibility that being reborn also undoes all physical effects."
"Indeed."
Qishi replies carelessly with his hand behind his back.
"But how could that kind of waste have such legendary ability, this kind of waste that only dares to hide in the alley and do evil, it is estimated that he has dumped all his family's money to get a magic potion formula from some gang that knows about transcendence to become a minion level transcendent."
Eleazar couldn't help but speculate on what the man had done wrong to deserve this punishment that was worse than death.
Then it was off to the housing agency, where they were guided by an in agent through several unoccupied properties.
Surprisingly, the inner city is not just a place to move into, according to this agent, even if they had more money.
But Eleazar guessed that it would be that they hadn't shown enough financial power to get this agent to go out of his way for them.
It was an inner city cut off by a high wall, and the arches in and out were guarded by law enforcement officers, who would come up to people in undignified attire, and without a pass, they would be mercilessly driven away, without any mercy.
Of the three of them, I guess only Ms. Qishi could waltz in.
Eventually, they rented a small, warm, detached, double-story room in the street outside the inner city.
Eleazar spat blood and paid 100,000 tables as a deposit and a year's rent.
And in the house, Qishi looked back with full interest.
"You'll have to take care of me from now on, Witcher~"
