Chapter 313 -  The Sunken Temple

"Aw shucks shucks shucks!"

The witch emerges from a swirl of mud in a crumbling passage filled with an ancient atmosphere.

"Huh? Wasn't I supposed to fall out?"

Evelea was full of doubts and couldn't figure out why she was still burrowing out below when she had jumped in at the top.

She looked cautiously from side to side and quickly climbed up.

As a professional advance cannon fodder, she was immensely skillful in setting up her cannons to guard her left and right sides.

Although she couldn't figure out the rationale for this current state of affairs, it didn't stop her from declaring her infiltration a success.

After waiting in silence for a moment and not realizing any danger, Evelea used a mind transmission to give the order to the warlocks outside to follow.

But Fina, standing in the three-headed dragon's lair, had only received an intermittent psychic transmission and hadn't even heard what the man below was saying.

After a moment's contemplation, she grabbed the two beside her and jumped down into the vortex with her shield deployed.

It didn't take long for a strong wave of evil energy to emanate from the ancient passage, and a shadow shield slowly emerged from the vortex.

Evelea turned back, "See, no surprises at all, you cowards!"

Fina craned her head to look both ways and said faintly, "Well, that did go well."

The originally dead-silent passageway had a rustling of footsteps on both sides at some point.

A group of lizardmen dryads, stumbling out of the shadows on either side.

Evelea's eyes widened at once.

"Why! Just now when I was by myself... There was nothing!"

She quickly reacted and shouted, "It must be your dark aura that's drawing the monsters out!"

Eleazar wiped the mud from her face, "Stop complaining and wash your face."

Evelea pouted a bit and summoned a stream of water to wrap itself around her, thoroughly cleansing her body head to tail like a hosepipe.

Eleazar picks up the magic iron cannon and looks at it.

"Where's your sea serpent short staff?"

Why release the ability directly, when it's clear that it can be reduced by half through the transcendental medium?

In the current, the witch's body froze at once.

Fina, who released the lightning chain and cleared the left channel, looked back and scoffed, "She broke it."

Evelea yelled at her in anger, "It's not because you're so useless, you're letting those knights get close!"

Eleazar, standing next to her, probably heard it as if they had been threatened by the knights closing in around them in one of their encounters, and anyway, the short staff ended up being martyred along with those knights.

Well, these two guys are fighting in the dark as usual, it's just a shame about the hard-won Naga spine.

Eleazar turned his head and watched as the Queen's daughter fought the undead with her sword.

In the dimly lit passageway, her royal armor slowly flowed with a dull runic glow that conferred all sorts of increased power as she hacked and slashed her way to the end of the line until she was slapped off the blade by a 3rd rank half-dragon who appeared to be returning to his imagination, the aftermath of which sent the swordsman flying along with him with a tremendous amount of force.

The king's daughter rolled around on the floor a few times and a mouthful of blood spurted out as she sat up.

She's too weak...

The strength itself was only of the 2nd rank, and even though it was equipped with a notable outfit, it was only bullying ordinary monsters, once faced with an enemy of the upper elite rank, it should be crushed or be crushed.

Seeing that result, Eleazar turned her head and asked the witch with her eyes how sure she was about this Queen's plan.

Anyway, with the kind of strength the other party had now, he was not qualified to compete for the inheritance.

Evelea shrugged and returned a 'take your time...' with her eyes.

Eleazar thought for a moment, casually tossing out the tail spine of the three-headed dragon and speaking faintly:

"Pick it up and kill it!"

Facing that tall half-dragon man who was approaching step by step, the king's daughter took a difficult look at the very primitive material weapon on the ground, and finally carefully picked up the spine tail tip, endured the sharp pain of corroded palms, and met the monster head-on.

But this time, the fight was extraordinarily easy.

The Dragon Man reached out and had his hand chopped off, lunged and bit and had his head chopped off, and finally, his body was split in half like tofu by the spine sword.

Phyllis instantly looked at the tailbone in her hand incredulously, she felt that even if her big brother came now, she probably wouldn't be able to take a sword from her.

This was the terrifying aspect of a Sequencer, as long as one possessed equipment that matched their Sequence ability, their strength would change drastically.

Eleazar said indifferently, "This is the tailbone of a legendary three-headed dragon, rank 4 corrosive trait, if you want to truly possess it, clean up all the monsters in this place."

If she hadn't been unable to digest the magic potion herself anymore, this kind of good thing that would allow her to be promoted wouldn't have been her turn at all.

Phyllis was instantly demoralized, and with her Dragon Bone Sword in hand, she charged into the depths of the ruins hacking and slashing her way through, no more Dragons would be able to block that horrible corrosive blow unless another legendary species popped up.

The three Eleazar's followed slowly, constantly studying the ancient relics they saw along the way.

"It's a temple!"

Fina said with certainty:

"When it was still sunk, there used to be a large number of lizardmen who worshipped what they thought were their gods here!"

"I don't know what happened after that, the temple sank, and the remaining lizardmen tribes out there gradually lost their faith, they may have come looking for it, but in the end, they only found the Dragon Cliff, which was overrun by the three-headed dragons, and it was then seen as the new faith."

"And that bipedal flying dragon came from behind, it realized that the three dragons couldn't help themselves, so it also toughened up and built a nest on the Dragon Cliff, which was slowly infested by the leakage of the dragon species' aura, and eventually evolved as well."

Eleazar looks contemplatively into the depths of the shadowy passage.

"A green dragon..."

It didn't take them long to spot the king's daughter leaning against the stone wall, her face full of exhaustion.

The dragon's spine sword fell to his feet.

Her hands, already corroded to a dark green color, were almost visible as white bones.

"Master, I can't hold it anymore..."

Eleazar picked up the dragon's spine in one smooth motion, only to feel a stinging pain in his palm.

Such unmodified and primitive weapons hurt both people and themselves.

He then stepped out of the passage to take a look and found that under his feet was a platform suspended dozens of meters in the air, and below it was a vast square, densely sprawled with half-dragons, in the form of a pilgrimage to the bronze door at the end of the ambush, and that pious stance did not know how many thousands of years it had lasted.

Evelea was secretly stumped.

"That green dragon... Is it still alive?"

"I don't know..."

Eleazar shook his head stonily, and anyway, in the perceived sight of the teeny-tiny bronze door at the end of the square, there was nothing but endless green light reflecting at him, and the rich aura of the dragon species was astonishingly strong.

If it was a living green dragon, even if it was bound by something unknown, that level of mythological creature was not something they could match right now.

Fina also surveys the area with a Warlock Sequence spell and says faintly:

"Dead."
