"Once upon a time, there was a world where there were clear oceans, blue skies, white clouds, tall peaks, endless resources, and people lived carefree lives."
"That world, it's as beautiful as a painting."
Trapped in this alien space for an unknown period, the Evil Believer, whose spirit had long since become insane, stretched out his hands to the giant face in the sky as if asking for a hug.
"Stop it, do you realize what you're doing!?"
Suffering from the sharp pain of the morning sun, the knight reached out his hand in an attempt to rouse the crazed evil believer.
A wan face turned, its gaze, as they had expected, filled with deep chaos.
It's the kind of lunatic gaze that has taken the unthinkable for granted and doesn't feel the slightest hint of wrong or guilt.
"Of course I know, I know it very well..."
"Instead, it's you guys ...." The evil believer in the dark golden robes turned around.
"Look at what you've done, making such a mess of my god's kingdom, why do you interest my god so much? How strange, what are you, people?"
"Oh, and by the way, it's very rude not to introduce yourself before asking someone."
"My name is Naci, I am a painter and an astronomer who studies the mysteries of the universe."
Bearing the sharp pain coming from the morning emblem, Eleazar covered his head and said quickly to the knight beside him, "The Evil God's main body isn't here, He's projecting over with the help of the anchor's positioning, you hold off this priest, I'll go find the anchor and destroy it, otherwise we'll all be dead by the time He descends completely!"
Fintan nods quickly, "Good! You go, I'll hold off this priest!"
As the knight stood up straight on his staggering body, he asked towards the evil believer:
"May I ask Mr. Astronomer, what cosmic mysteries have you worked out?"
The Evil Believer was suddenly filled with interest and said, "I always thought that the world we used to live in was fake and that people were like living in a painting."
"I'm saying this for a reason... For example, there's a powerful force surrounding that world that prevents us from moving forward, even one step..."
"That transparent medium cannot be perceived by sight, yet great as it is, cold and vast!"
He said fervently, "That's like a law that has existed since the beginning of the world!"
"I think this must be the frame for the painting."
"And beyond the frame, perhaps, are higher-dimensional beings and their higher-dimensional worlds."
"My knowledge of higher dimensional beings is limited, except that He responds to pleasure..."
"Mostly, He reaches out with rootless, bony tentacles and descends through the clouds into my kingdom."
"After that, there was an inexplicable increase in useful material around the area, and less waste and garbage."
"I try to be convinced that those tentacles are the will of the world, the rules that drive the law of conservation of matter."
"But no one cares about my guesses, and it's even harder to get them verified."
"So I established a faith with some people, tried to pay homage to the tentacled god, and held sacrificial ceremonies as often as I could, offering up large quantities of His favorite grains and waiting for the god to come down."
"Finally, one day, I was swept away from the world and my friends, or rather, the painting, by tentacles that fell from the sky."
"Come to the land of God where there are no worries or troubles, where we are given a good and happy life, and where God is with everything in the world!"
Amidst the uncountable arches of evil contaminants, the astronomer happily spread his arms wide.
Fintan grimaced as if he couldn't stand the sight any longer, and raised his longsword to jut out.
The Evil Believer was all smiles as he watched the knight who suddenly appeared in front of him get swept up by the tentacles that were instantly cast down.
Fintan let out a roar of fury, shaking out his rippling hands and slapping them repeatedly, but he couldn't break free.
The tentacle was so strong that it didn't allow him to put up any resistance, taking off into the air at a breakneck speed.
Then Fintan also saw the gods behind the tentacles.
He was so huge that he covered the sky and was shrouded by uncountable black mists, and before he could see the whole picture, he already felt an indescribable fear.
The huge eyeballs looked at everything about him with amusement, like innocent and bad children, and the sheer wickedness of it was so extreme that the knight could no longer muster a single thought of resistance.
Perhaps being powerful is, in itself, a positionless evil.
The tentacles slowly passed into a grinning, narrow slit of thick, chaotic darkness.
The evil believer felt unparalleled excitement for God's pleasure and then closed his arms in sorrow.
"Perhaps this is the cruelest truth of the world!"
"And I will walk through life alone with that truth."
"Serving the gods is both painful and pleasurable."
"I envy you the bliss of having ignorance..."
Fintan watched in stupefaction as he drew closer and closer to the dark crack.
"Ah!!!"
A roar came from that mountain of contamination.
Garn, who had risen from the top at some point, fought to shake off the monsters on his back and raised his holy spear to shoot dazzling beams of light at the monsters that were lunging around him again.
The holy light bullets reacted violently with those evil bodies.
The contaminant either dissipated into smoke on the spot or had its torso ignited and then exploded.
Deadly gritting his teeth, Garn suddenly transformed into streams of light, appearing as if in an instant on the side a dozen meters away, temporarily avoiding the monster's encirclement.
He then saw the knight in the distance lifted by a tentacle into a crack in the sky.
"Hold on!!!"
After signaling, whether the other side heard him or not, Garn fought his way out.
The silver-colored twin guns quickly raised, or crossed their arms, or aimed back and forth, or split their strikes left and right, so fast that only shadows could be seen, and from a distance they looked like a spiked ball of emitting white light, constantly sending out lethal and chaotic beams of light to the surroundings.
But the more the monsters were killed, the more they simply appeared from nowhere.
With a heavy gasp, Garn avoided the encirclement with a few more consecutive blinks, moving forward while clearing out the monsters that didn't know what fear was to intercept them, and finally came to the legion of monsters that came in like an ocean, which he couldn't avoid anymore.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!"
Arms raised straight forward, the Holy Lance continuously inspired a continuous rain of bullets. With the fast-moving pace, the amazingly powerful Holy Bullet Baptism seemed to chisel through the position, blasting out a path with severed limbs flying all over the place.
Killing the center of the monster army's hinterland at an alarming rate and judging the range, Gahn stepped high on another wobbly warped board.
The figure resting on the white robes flew into mid-air, the rolling twin lances slowly closing and aiming at the figure that kept flapping its tentacles.
"Get down here!!!"
