Chapter 212 -  Sorry, Holy Light

The much-anticipated moment of judgment.

The iron coffin was carried up to the atrium square and erected, and as the door of the coffin opened, a woman whose body was bound by magic-blocking gold shackles staggered out and fell to her knees.

The horn sounded, and Witcher, clad in bright armor, ascended the steps in full view of all.

His hand covered the long silver sword that symbolized light, and his gaze was clear and pure.

"Light the fire!"

Around the circular platform, mysterious flames were lit.

The crowd at the bottom went wild.

"Adjudicate her! Rule her!"

And Witcher didn't move.

"Do you know why the witch is always so jealous?"

Eleazar's laughter comes out of his faceplate, jarring.

"Though she is certainly pretty and lovely..."

Witcher took a deep breath, then with all his strength, raised his longsword high.

"Because I always have another person on my mind, a woman who is lazy, cool, and always likes to embarrass me, so she's full of resentment!"

Just as everyone was too late to react, the long silver sword, a symbol of light, cleaved through the Demon Blocking Gold Shackles.

The silver-colored sword was like a mirror, clearly reflecting the woman's pale face.

"He... What is he doing!"

The cathedral was first dead silent, then in an uproar.

And the bishop's eyes were filled with disappointment.

"Witcher, do you realize what you're doing?"

A warlock who has broken with the Shadow Council has little value at all and is best used to test loyalty.

But such a simple test he failed.

It doesn't mean that he's completely fallen into evil, but it doesn't mean that he's on the side of the light, either.

The pupils of her green eyes rolled gently, her lips opening and closing as she smiled weakly.

"That witch, is she angry now?"

"Well, pissed off already, just guarding the outside of the church with a gun."

Eleazar carried the weakened warlock on her back, secretly tucking the space crystal from the Demon Sequencer into her cold hand.

"The acolytes must not have thought that you could use space spells."

Fina gently took him by the neck, "I was going to become a <Traveler> if it wasn't for the sake of lifting the curse for you in the first place."

In the middle of the conversation, an uncountable number of Divine Punishers had already copied their silver swords and rushed up.

Eleazar crosses his longsword, that bright armor quickly infested with the black and red properties of the Titan's divine steel within.

"Meet the mythic power that is beyond your reach."

As soon as the words fell, the silver longsword, which was infested with darkness, swung out a blood-red sword light.

The unrivaled and terrifying power lifted a group of people off the ground.

This was followed by another heavy stomp, and the round platform they had worked so hard to build all night collapsed and sank on the spot.

Amidst the cloud of dust raised in the lobby, Witcher takes advantage of the chaos and breaks out with the warlock.

Behind them a nun carrying a giant scythe lunged, the silver glittering blade raised as if ready to cut the two off together.

Eleazar turned lightning fast, not dodging or blocking, just quietly letting the scythe slash at his body.

"Dang!"

Incredible sounds of metal clashing followed, and then the silver weapon crumbled into fragments in the sky, while the evil body surrounded by black and red aura also used this tremendous force to crash through a wall of people.

Breaking out of the cathedral with unexpected ease to the outside of the building, Eleazar saw the bishop suspended in the air and the Holy Order behind him.

"Witcher, it is not too late for you to turn back, or you will be judged along with evil!"

Eleazar stops in his tracks and looks back at the Divine Punisher, who has formed a circle behind him, thoughtfully:

"I don't know exactly what the right choice is."

"But I know exactly what I'm supposed to do."

"That's taking responsibility for your actions and choices."

"Being a Witcher."

The Bishop dropped his eyes coldly, "You have failed to live up to the significance we gave you!"

"When ----"

The gentle sound of a bell resounded through the heavens and earth, and a majestic pillar of light broke through the clouds and projected down.

Eleazar pressed the extinguishing ring on his finger and turned back, "Bear with me, it might hurt a bit."

"Mmmm~" Fina gently bent her head between his collar neck.

In the next second, the pillar of light engulfed the two.

But soon, something came up that shocked all the acolytes.

There was a severe distortion of the light, and upon closer inspection, the light was being frantically swallowed up by a raised palm, a ring could be detected struggling to be hidden between the fingers.

"It's a Mythic Grade Light Extinguishing Equipment!"

"Impossible, why would there still be this kind of magic weapon? Didn't that group of dwarves perish a long time ago!"

"Calm down!"

The Bishop rebuked the stirring Holy Order behind him.

"Construct sacred shelters and confine them!"

The pillar of light that had the people of the city talking quickly went out, and then a pure white church made of light emerged from the high walls of the church, covering the two men down like a great mountain.

Eleazar then realized that there could be so many more tricks to Holy Light.

Standing one step at a time on the clean white floor that burned with blue smoke, he slashed the wall a few times with his titanic cleave, shaking the building in a rippling circle, yet still keeping it intact.

Fina, who was lying on his shoulder, whispered:

"It's a modified version of a labyrinth-like technique that mainly utilizes the properties of holy light to seal the enemy, and that bishop was smart enough to quickly find a way to deal with your brute strength."

"How much longer do you have to prepare your teleportation spell?"

Eleazar claimed a break.

Fina cocked her head, "The one at the door with the gun, aren't you going to take him?"

"Uh, almost forgot about that guy."

Eleazar took a few helpless steps across, "Why don't we go out when your spells are more or less ready?"

"It won't work, teleporting two people is not the same as three."

Hearing her say that, Eleazar had to regretfully pull out the pass chalk.

"This is the thing I remember, it's what your father used to sneak into the Shadow Council Elders' stash and ransack all the material inside."

"That's a shame, it's a shame to use a little bit less, it's the space-based material that's the hardest to find."

After recognizing the direction, Eleazar drew a low archway with chalk and quietly pushed it open.

But it was still spotted by the acolytes gathered outside.

"They escaped!!!"

The bishop, who was discussing his countermeasures, twisted his head, and a reverse flow of blood nearly rushed up as he hurriedly ordered, "Hurry up and stall them!"

But how could those Divine Punishers with less powerful holy light spells stop the Titans?

Eleazar kicked the church's metal door heavily and rejoined the anxiously waiting magical girl outside.

"Your Highness, they're about to run!"

Sister Fledgling, whose weapon was chipped, said with a bit of urgency.

Qishi looked at her strangely and said without haste, "They're just one pair of legs, where else can they run?"

As soon as the words fell, a blue portal opened at the entrance of the church, and in the eyes of all the acolytes who were shocked and furious, the figures of those three people quickly rushed in and disappeared.
