Seeing that the cursed object was about to be triggered, Fintan-san instantly summoned his silver sword to slash down.
If Eleazar hadn't suddenly stopped chanting as well, maybe he really would have been split in half.
In the room, everyone was stunned.
They watched in horror and dismay as Fintan's classmates suddenly pulled out their murder weapons.
No one knows how that silver longsword came to be...
The maid shielded herself in front of Missy as Norton and Lillian subconsciously hugged each other.
Eleazar tilted his head back, looking at the blade of the sword only millimeters from his scalp, and faintly closed the book and handed it over.
"Here."
He returned this trophy.
After all, it's what people find out on merit.
Eleazar was also a little surprised that he hadn't found this one so well hidden.
It was a very high-level cursed item that didn't leak a single trace of evil, and the power in it was only triggered when it was recited.
Even if the knight hadn't stopped it, he wouldn't have read on.
He didn't want to know what effect the cursed object would trigger at all.
Eleazar's face was a little puzzled.
This meant that the cries of the weak that the knight had heard earlier were true.
Also unintentionally guessed correctly myself.
The people in the room before may have actually been eaten by the book!
The knight took the cursed object and hurried away, leaving several people in the room staring at each other.
"Why is he suddenly so mean..."
People still can't understand that kind of move on his part.
Eleazar may be the only one here who understands him.
Fintan's classmates were just acting a little scary to stop him from sparking the cursed object.
But understanding as it was, one still couldn't forgive the guy for putting the blade on his head.
After a moment's thought, Eleazar got up and prepared to go out as well.
"Where are you going?" Norton asked subconsciously.
"Suddenly something came up, so hurry up and bury Mr. Frog after you're done with the seance, it's starting to stink."
Eleazar explained and hurried out.
But Fintan's classmates are no longer in the hallway.
Obviously he just walked out.
Eleazar glanced out over the railing, and to his surprise found the knight already running below.
That guy didn't just jump right in...
Where exactly does he want to send the cursed object?
"Finnian--"
Eleazar tries to shout out the name of a person, and finds that it does call off the figure.
By the time he walked slowly down the stairs, Fintan's classmates were standing in the woods with extremely cold faces.
"Your name is Eleazar isn't it, why do you know my brother's name?"
"It just felt a little bit like it and tried to call it."
Eleazar looks at his visage and sighs, "You two aren't even remotely similar except for your names."
The other man's hand clenched as if he wanted to draw that longsword again.
"What's the matter with you?" He did his best to remain calm.
"Today Mr. Aegus jumped from the fifth floor, and he died a very unhappy death..."
Eleazar said slowly, "As it happened, I was standing in front of him, and received his last request."
Fintan-san had coldly taken out his silver longsword.
And Eleazar continued, "Actually, I just want to ask the person inside the book if he was involved in the translation of this ancient text before he was cursed to be killed, can you lend me the ancient text first if you don't mind?"
An incomparably astonishing aura slowly stirred up the entire forest, and the falling dry leaves were crushed into powder inch by inch by the sword aura.
"Huh, the wind's picking up?"
Some of the students walking under the forest looked in amazement at the trees swaying wildly above them.
Eleazar looked around and laughed, "Are you sure you want to fight here?" The sword aura that permeated the entire forest slowly gathered, the air in this area seemed to be frozen, the blade slowly raised forward, the sword wielder turned his body sideways, his arm connecting with the longsword in a straight line.
"Name your sequence!"
"Or die!"
Seeing his insistence on dueling here, Eleazar tilted his head back, his mouth opening soundlessly.
"Anon--"
A silent mind roar spread, followed by countless terrified students covering their heads and frantically fleeing out of the woods.
[Mind Whispering: Group Fear]
"A psychic pathway? You really aren't an Order-keeping Transcendent, suffer death!"
The sword blade was like a rainbow, stabbing straight ahead!
Eleazar sidesteps it and summons the invisible blade to counter-tease it.
The silver sword instantly changed from stabbing to sweeping, dragging out a trajectory like moonlight to ruthlessly split, and the invisible blade that emitted a faint blue mist violently bumped, rippling out a circle of silent ripples.
Eleazar tries to compete with him in a sword fight, but realizes... He himself was no match for the others!
After only a few moves of sparring, he was left holding his head.
Not to mention the fact that the swordsmanship that people had been specializing in for an unknown number of years was completely different from their own in terms of heaven and earth, and even their weapons were restrained.
His own invisible sword was about to be knocked apart by his opponent's silver sword.
How can you compete when your weapons are going to be gone.
Silver Sword is really a scoundrel!
Eleazar took a backward jump, using his Frost and Atmosphere abilities in quick succession, and even tried to unleash his mind spells to ward off the attack, only to find that his opponent kept his gaze down, giving him absolutely no chance to utilize his mind abilities.
"Well..."
"Niinii~"
Fintan's eyes glazed over as he realized that his silver-haired brother was suddenly stopping in front of the other man with open arms and tearful eyes.
[Mind Whispering: Charmed]
Have the guts to plug your ears too.
Fintan's hand froze and he looked up in disbelief, unable to stab past what was clearly a terminal sword move.
Eleazar met those sharp eyes well this time.
"Fintan, do you realize you're doing wrong..."
[Mind Suggestion: Fear]
[Mind Whispering: Channelling]
"Ah!!!"
Fintan tilted his head back a bit and suddenly held his head in his hands and let out a scream while tears welled up wildly in his eyes.
"I didn't kill him, I really didn't mean to!"
Well, the mind torture seemed to poke at the depths of his soul.
Eleazar stepped forward and looked at the man on his knees, crying out in pain, and slowly reached down to pick up the ancient text.
"You lose."
Once the stuff was in hand, Eleazar woke him up.
The knight fell to his knees and wiped his eyes as he slowly raised his head.
"I won't let you go!"
Eleazar shrugged, "I'm always up for it as long as it's on fair terms~"
"Do you think we're still those one-dimensional knights from history!"
Fintan gritted his teeth and said, "Your name is Eleazar isn't it, your life is over! I'm going to the church right now to turn you in!"
"You won't snitch, Mr. Finnian is a very sweet boy and you'll do anything to protect him."
Eleazar turned back to him and gave him a small, devilish smile.
"..."
Fintan, whose eyes were red to the point of devouring, slowly followed him.
"What the hell do you want!"
"I just said that~"
Eleazar shrugged off the ancient text, "Borrow your booty for a bit."
"You want to activate it? Do you realize what you're doing! Didn't you feel that evil power just now, once it's unleashed you'll die without a trace!"
"Don't compare me to you."
Eleazar inclined his head slightly, "Mr. Knight of Wrongful Death~"
"AHHH!!!"
