Chapter 102 - Our Simple Wish

The two of them, who had turned into drop-dead gorgeous, were certainly in no position to have fun.

It was only after drying their clothes in a fancy hotel that they were back on the street.

A flushed Evelea pouted, "I don't have the strength, you have to carry me~"

Eleazar ignored the strange looks around him and carried her on his back.

She was instantly happy as happy as a young girl in hot love.

Shopping, dinner, a movie, and a trip to the photo studio for intimate group photos...

Eleazar fulfills all her fantasies of being in love.

Finally arriving at the shopping building, he turns into a ruthless cash machine again, pulling out his wallet with slight heartburn to keep paying.

They played from noon until evening, when they returned to the hotel.

"So tired~"

Back in her room, Evelea flung herself onto the king-sized bed as soon as she could.

Eleazar hung up the 'Do Not Disturb' sign before closing the door to the room and walking in, setting down her hands full of shopping bags.

Thousands of dollars were gone, and at this rate of spending more than he could afford, he would soon have to go to the bank to withdraw his money.

Sighing, Eleazar went to get a glass of water to drink. Back in the room, the guy was gone, and the sound of splashing came from the bathroom.

Having met all her demands today, I hope she'll have the good sense not to make trouble tomorrow.

Eleazar thought silently.

It wasn't long before the smoke-filled bathroom door opened and a snow-white goblin stepped out.

She pressed against the mountains, stepping over a series of wet footprints, and walked over to the shopping bag and crouched down, rummaging through it for a moment.

"Nasty, no looking!"

Eleazar withdrew his gaze resentfully.

After a while, the much changed look jumped out at her again.

"Does this look good~"

It was a demoness hazily wearing a thin veil, with an overwhelmingly beautiful face that made people's hearts pound, big watery eyes revealing curiosity, a hint of if not a smile hanging at the corner of her mouth, and a delicate body that was hidden from view.

Eleazar nods coldly as he presses down on the flames burning his body with his 2nd order cold energy, "Not bad."

"What about this?"

"Do you like that?"

The witch switched various postures recklessly, a moment of innocence and a moment of desire, a thousand faces, dazzling him.

"Or maybe ~this~?"

A piece of cloth wadding was casually wrapped around a few times to cover just a few key areas, and the snowy whiteness of his feet on the cold floor shook him to the bone.

Eleazar had sensed something was wrong and sucked in a cold breath.

This guy actually took the opportunity to buy a bunch of attack speed outfits, no wonder he spent so much money.

"Invalid!"

The Witch did her old trick and sealed his powers again.

"Well, now neither of us can fool around~"

Eleazar sneered and stood up, "It's your own charm that's not working that's playing tricks, isn't it?"

...

A haze of white mist from the floor-to-ceiling windows on the ninth floor of the hotel...

The witch slumped helplessly against the glass, her cherry mouth exaggeratedly open, unable to hear a sound, only the sharp exhale of hot air making her diaphanous face clear and blurred at times.

...

...

The next day, Eleazar quietly opened his eyes.

Untying the octopus from his body, he went to the bathroom and took a shower, then changed his clothes.

"Where are you going~"

Those aggravated eyes widened as they watched the man prepare to leave without saying goodbye like that.

"Isn't there another day of vacation~"

"Be a good girl and go home first by yourself when you're rested, I have things to do."

Eleazar touched her head.

The witch hit him angrily, then turned away from him.

Eleazar soothes her for a moment, but eventually turns away.

Walking down the street, he slowly exhaled a breath of cold air as his mood slowly regained its calm.

Ebb and flow of the tide.

The moon is cold and windy and frosty.

The rhapsodic thoughts of night rain, the faint scent of wildflowers...

"I really hope that such carefree days can last forever, go hunting for dark creatures in your spare time, find a job as an interpreter after graduation, or maybe appraise antiques for the rich, as long as you hide your identity, it shouldn't be difficult to support two people..."

Eleazar thought in a daze, and before he knew it, he was at the station.

It wasn't long before a train from a neighboring city slowly entered the station.

Fina, whose face was full of fatigue, happened to be sitting at the window when she vaguely saw a familiar figure skimming by.

"Hmm?"

She stood up in disbelief and thought better of it, but took advantage of the quick stop and went into the restroom to do her best to remove all the transcendent scent from her body.

Sure enough, when he stepped out of the compartment, he saw the man.

Isn't he going to fool around with the witch today?

She glanced over, "What are you doing here."

Eleazar smiled helplessly and greeted him.

"Why did you go back without telling me about it."

Fina: "Oh, the hospital back home called and said my father broke his leg and I went back to check on him."

Crowe Town, in the tailor store, Fioz suddenly sneezes heavily.

"Ah!" Eleazar was a little surprised.

Do father-in-laws start having osteoporosis when they're only in their 50s?

"And is Uncle Fioz going to be important now?"

"It's been fine."

Fina waved her hand.

Eleazar saw the weariness in her eyes and stopped talking, approaching silently.

The beauty leaned up very obediently and naturally, her head resting gently on her shoulder.

Walking out of the station in silence, enjoying the silent warmth, he said suddenly:

"Nana, I left something for you at the store."

"Oh? What is it?"

In the town of Crowe, in the tailor's store, the black cat that was licking its fur suddenly got up, opened the door to Fioz's astonished eyes, and walked gracefully across the street.

That's Fina's envoy...

"It's not like it's anything..."

It's just some compensation he left behind for not knowing when he would die.

Eleazar's eyes flickered a bit, "It's just something to prepare ahead of time just in case..."

"Where to put it?"

Fina's eyes were closed and she was dreaming unconsciously as if she were asleep.

"In the cash register, obviously."

The black cat that had burrowed into the clock store leapt up onto the cash register, hooked a half-dozen paws into it, and finally was able to open that drawer, then poked his head down, picked up the envelope, and trotted back into the tailor's store.

Fioz bends over and takes the envelope, opens it and reads it, shrugging at the black cat.

"Well, it's a will, and a bank draft, and wow ~ lots of money!"

Seeing him try to pocket the money order in one smooth motion, the black cat exploded and jumped up to scratch him hard.

Fioz covered his face woefully and reassembled the envelope.

"Nana, that guy destroyed one of my magic cloaks, you can't turn your arm outward like that."

When the envoy put the envelope back as it was, Fina slowly opened her green eyes.

"I'm hungry~"

"Come on then, let's go eat!"

Looking at the figure that was looking left and right, she smiled slightly.

"My wish is simple, that you're around, by your side, that's all..."
