Chapter 97 - Replenishing Strength

The location of the magic potion was changed this time.

Who would want to stay next to a tiger's den if they had a choice.

The church was checking tightly these days, so if the leakage of one's transcendent power was detected, the fun would be great.

So this trip to the witch's lair to take the magic potion.

On the way, Eleazar casually asked, "Did you get the misdirection ceremony done?"

The witch at his side, holding his hand for a moment.

"Get it done!"

"I threw that silver coin on a dirigible bound for Loran."

She rested her chin in slight thought, "Almost across the ocean by now, if that?"

Misdirection abroad?

Eleazar's eyes flickered, "What's the situation on the Loran side?"

Evelea cheerfully returned, "It's a very free country, not yet ruled by the Church, rooted in the remnants of various transcendental forces, and you can even go to the Transcendental Gathering if you have an acquaintance who introduces you to it!"

Turns out it's the Land of Chaos over there, so I'm sure there must be countless transcendent events.

Celine is a big Holy Light...

Maritime Jungle, Lungs of the World - Ruen...

Eleazar's eyes narrowed and suddenly widened.

Crap, is this guy trying to start a world war?

...

A long time later...

They went back to the abandoned mine outside the city.

Thinking about that stormy scene back then, Eleazar glanced at the witch beside him.

Evelea happened to look up with her head held high as well, then smiled sweetly.

He himself must have been affected by the power of fate at that time.

Eleazar bristled.

There were some messy footprints at the entrance to the mine that seemed to have been left not too long ago.

Evelea didn't care at all as she walked inside.

As we went deeper, more and more debris was discarded on the ground.

Paper balls, empty beer cans, used newspapers, rotten cards, and all sorts of household detritus make you wonder if there are homeless people living here.

Some talk and laughter came out vaguely from the depths of the mine.

"This is the territory that several gangs are fighting over, they often fight each other, it's very lively~"

Evelea introduced herself with gusto.

Oh, and it turns out that these people serve the same purpose as the demons in the labyrinth.

Confuse the outside world, and by the way, block the entry of some uninvolved people.

These people are miserable, and I wonder if the Witch will pay them.

Eleazar took a moment of silence for the villains.

Then, bypassing the group of idlers who were drinking and chatting, they stepped into a dark tunnel that gradually climbed.

Perhaps it was because they hadn't been back for so long that all the little glowing flowers on either side had wilted.

Walking into the place where the magic potion ceremony had once been held, Evelea crouched down and breathed spirituality into the wilting sea of flowers.

Then, a diffuse purple light bloomed in the cave...

It is dreamlike, luminous and mysterious.

The witch stood in a fluorescent glow, biting her lower lip lightly, her eyes radiant and moving.

Eleazar quickly grimaced, "Don't you fuck with me, I have to take my magic potion today!"

"Uh-huh!" She nodded her head back and forth, but her feet approached wistfully.

"Hey!"

Eleazar, who was about to walk to the tablet to mix a magic potion, was pounced upon in a sea of flowers.

"Mr. Prince, can't you see that we've used up all the power of destiny we've accumulated~"

How willing was Eleazar to just let this guy have his way with him, just as he tried to get up, he was pulled down heavily, all of his limbs bound by the vines that had suddenly appeared.

The sea of flowers underneath him swung slowly, slowly piecing together a soft cushion of flowers.

The witch grinned wickedly and grabbed her collar and tossed it upwards.

A stunning snowy white bloom.

All this time, their activities had been sneaky, never as bright as now, with all the details in full view.

The snow-white mountains were dotted with crimson, and there was a mischievous black mole on the underside of one of them.

"Hiss!"

Eleazar sucks in a cold breath, ignited instantly by a searing blood breath that 2nd Order Cold Energy can't keep down.

This guy was premeditated!

...

The color of the sea of flowers fades to pink, and with the heavy impact the flowers roam the sky.

A voice that seemed to mourn and sob echoed through the cave.

She's a different person when she gets into a fight.

Looking at the deadened lower lip, Eleazar suddenly broke free of the vines.

He stood up quickly and took a few slow steps into the stunningly beautiful face with its ebony brows furrowed, and soon the voice that was dead in his throat took on a sobbing tone.

"I was wrong..."

The sealing ceremony is still needed here to keep the battle from spreading.

With one free hand Eleazar picks up the material box, and in a cry that is not sure if it is one of pain or pleasure, walks over to the slab and dumps out a bunch of stuff.

Picked and chose, then walked back to the cave entrance to the sound of one step of frenzied screaming and began to set up the ritual.

Getting a brief respite, she watched it all with tears in the corners of her eyes.

Perhaps the body couldn't help but tremble slightly at the thought of the raging storm that was about to begin.

"I'm going to die, woo hoo hoo ...."

Soon the witch was as mad as a runaway wild horse.

...

...

The guy who was all mouth and bravado was soon slumped over the flower cushion like a rotten one, limbs spread wide, head tilted back from the edge and down, hair spread out like a waterfall, and sobbing all over the corners of his mouth and eyes and underneath his body.

It happens every time, but every time you don't learn the lesson.

Eleazar stood in the cavern, which had turned white with light, and silently concocted a magic potion.

As the drop of golden blood was cast in, an explosive energy raged and erupted, nearly toppling the crucible.

Amazing dragon power erupted, the heart and lungs stopped, and the transcendental activity in his body contracted in fear.

Eleazar held back the searing pain and pressed down on the crucible that wanted to explode and take off, which saved the potion that was nearly undone.

Not caring about his scalded hands, he quickly added the 'Soul Eater's Pituitary' again and watched as the pot of golden potion was slowly infiltrated into a mysterious silver-gray color again.

3rd order magic potion - Mind Empty Island, blending complete.

This was the highest grade of magic potion he had ever had since he became a Transcendent.

I wonder what kind of pain I'll have to suffer when I take it later.

Well... It can't be harder than that, can it?

Pouring the magic potion into a beaker, Eleazar meditates for a moment, grasping at straws to regain his depleted aura.

...

"Oooh wow, it bit me!"

Eleazar opens his eyes helplessly and cocks his head.

Beside him, the witch, who had woken up at some point, came back to fiddle with his things.

And her target this time was the book on the stone table, the Witcher's Inherited Magical Guide Book that contained the legacy, hundreds of magic potion recipes, and intelligence on all the dark creatures of the Dark Ages.

She went to play with magic potions all right, and had to play with this stuff.

Sensing a dark aura approaching, the magic guide book was instantly awakened, and the spread out book popped up and closed fiercely, devouring the palm directly.

The witch stared blankly at her bitten off palm.

"It bit me..."

Luckily she wasn't poking her head down to peek.

Eleazar hugged the idiot who pounced and wailed.
