Chapter 80 - Abandoned Dormitory Building

"Hey, you two newbies, pay attention!"

The group investigated around the abandoned dormitory building for a while, but got nowhere, so Lillian looked irritably at the two men whispering behind her.

Evelea, who was nibbling on Eleazar's ear, looked up.

"But Vice Minister, we don't know anything yea, shouldn't we just quietly follow behind now, not touching the taboo, and just look up to the seniors?"

Lillian thought about it carefully, and seemed to think that what she said seemed to make some sense, so she held up her chin and said, "Well, you'll have to watch it carefully, as these rare investigative opportunities don't come along very often!"

"Uh-huh uh-huh!" Evelea nodded repeatedly with a serious face.

Eleazar was expressionless.

This ghost society, except for them who just joined, the others are all officials, the minister, the two vice ministers, and even the maids are logistic administrators.

I'm surprised that this kind of club, which is like a joke, hasn't been cut from the school?

See, Seebel really is overseen by the church.

When this witch learns the truth later, she'll have time to cry.

Up front, Lillian muttered to the group, "Really, we should never recruit couples in the future."

At this point, Norton and the others were still trying to find the entrance.

All the doors and windows on the first floor of the entire abandoned dormitory building were nailed shut by wooden boards, basically eliminating the possibility of mixing in by normal means.

It was obvious that the student council was really worried about preventing curious students from going in and giving away their heads.

Anyway, they were not going to be able to pry open those tightly sealed doors and windows without specialized tools and long hours of work.

Norton looked up thoughtfully at the second floor, which was five meters above the ground.

"Eleazar, aren't you physically fit, is there any way to, um... Climb up?"

He could go up there, of course, but he didn't want to be with these people.

Glaring at the witch with a warning look, Eleazar quickly shook her head.

"No, there are no climbing spots."

"Well, indeed..."

After half a day of hard thinking, Norton could only spread his hands helplessly, "Then this quest will have to end."

"Eh!"

Lillian instantly let out a disgruntled grumble, "Don't you usually claim to be knowledgeable and resourceful, how come you're so useless when it comes down to it."

At this, Seebel smiled slightly.

"Looks like everyone's running out of ideas, doesn't it?"

"Minister don't be so secretive, what's the solution? Tell me quickly!"

Lillian rushed up to her like she was saved and threw her arms around her for a moment.

Seebel gave her a pouty look and wrenched the hand away from the one, then summoned the maid and fumbled for a few moments in the backpack on her back, slowly pulling out a hand-arm-length rope gun.

Eleazar sucked in a cold breath.

Norton clapped his hands in shock, "No shit Minister, what a pro!"

Lillian rushed over to help carry it, but found it very heavy.

"Men, come quickly!"

Even this kind of thing had been taken out, what else could he do to stop these people from going in to die...

Eleazar sighed helplessly, pretending to walk over to help, but really trying to see if he could break the thing.

Evelea came back over and muttered, "It's okay oh, from what I understand, daytime demon spirits are rare."

"This I know."

"Then what are you worried about?"

"Oh, you're worried about the girl whose body was corrupted by a transcendent power?"

Evelea suddenly hugged his arm tightly again, "Prince-san is really gentle~"

"Let go!"

Eleazar jerked his hand helplessly.

What the hell does this stupid witch know, Seebel is probably the one the acolyte from the student council is focusing on, if something happens to her, they all won't get away.

At this point, Evelea had the idea, "How about this, if we find something, I'll do some trickery to scare them off?"

Eleazar thought for a moment, "Yes!"

It seemed that the gang's raised curiosity wouldn't be quenched until they went in and explored a bit today, and he could only helplessly step forward to help.

Watch it early and leave early, or wait until dark and who knows what will happen here.

While it was true that he was eager to destroy the demons, he wasn't heartless enough to use a living person as bait.

After a moment, they quickly loaded the rope gun, and the two boys raised it with what looked like a bit of effort, trying to aim it at the second floor balcony of the abandoned dormitory.

"Go for it~"

Evelea and Lily stand at a distance cheering them on.

Mia guards Missy Seebel vigilantly, wary of accidents.

"You hold it up, I'll aim!" Norton suggested.

"Good." Eleazar nodded indifferently.

Norton, who had accidentally withdrawn his force, didn't notice that the gun and crossbow, made of pure steel, was being lifted more smoothly.

The effort of aiming took a moment, then his finger squeezed the trigger and a powerful spring burst forth.

"Avalanche!"

The steel arrow on the gun's chamber instantly turned into a black shadow and swept out, and even before anyone could react, the entire arrow pierced through the ceiling of the second floor balcony, and then the remainder of the arrow deeply disappeared into the ceiling of the third floor.

That's a real concrete wall!

This terrifying power startled everyone.

"It's..."

Norton turned around a little shaky.

"This... It's a tube product, isn't it?"

Seebel cocked her head in thought.

"I don't know yet, anyway, it was handed down in my family and I thought it might be useful, so I brought it out."

Just as everyone was surprised by this, Eleazar turned his head with an expressionless face.

Evelea gave a veiled nod, signaling that she saw it.

It's a transcendental weapon.

It had just drawn on the spirit of the crossbow wielder, so one arrow pierced through a 50cm thick concrete floor with incredible power.

Norton was already fretting, "So how are we going to get it out later?"

"Whatever, whatever, let's go up first!"

Lillian couldn't hold back any longer, she ran over and gave the rope a hard tug, and after realizing it was incredibly stable, she started climbing.

"You watch out!"

Norton steps up and tries to help pushing it, but gets a leg kick.

"No peeking over here, pervert!"

Well, the girls today, all in skirts.

Eleazar had long since stood aside with his hands clasped, and a devastated Norton turned to seek some comfort, only to find that all the women in the room had clasped their hands.

"It's a misunderstanding, I didn't think that way, ooohhhh..."

Evelea came over and said quietly, "You'll have to stand underneath later oh, I'm not in good shape and I'm afraid I'll fall~"

Eleazar doesn't believe her shit.

Lillian quickly climbed up, while the crowd below was only just distributing the order.

The second to climb was Norton, and soon it was Evelea's turn, who shakily gripped the rope and let out a steady stream of petulant cries to lure the heads of those below to turn and look.

But Eleazar has comprehended the Heart of Stone and is not moved at all.
