As dusk settled upon the forest, their paths diverged after a painful separation earlier that day. The quietude of the wild paths was enveloped by the darkness, but under the moonlit sky, their steps would converge once more. Ron couldn't help but worry about Drakoros. A sense of apprehension surrounded him, knowing that this solitude was their path to strength. Drakoros hurried to a place where feeble creatures dwelled, while Ron ventured towards those stronger and more perilous.
Hours elapsed, and the sunlight swept away the shadows. As twilight blanketed the land, they reunited. Ron had gathered five gleaming crystals which he handed over to Drakoros. Drakoros had acquired his own three crystals. However, after ten minutes of waiting, nothing occurred. Thus, both retired to rest, preparing to embark on another crystal hunt the next day.
With the rising sun, their paths diverged once again. Ron felt an inexplicable unease on the way to the monsters. A feeling as if someone lurked in the shadows made him pause and meditate. As he dispersed his mana, an unexpected sight unfolded before him: a bird's-eye view that allowed him to encompass everything within a radius of 7 km. Yet, despite this newfound ability, he found nothing observing him. The emptiness was unnerving – either his observer was farther away or adept at concealing themselves.
Ron held onto these disquieting thoughts as he continued his quest for crystals. Meanwhile, Drakoros' strength grew, and he dispatched monsters with an ease he hadn't known before. When night fell, they reconvened. Ron passed on the gathered crystals to Drakoros. As Drakoros consumed the crystals, Ron confessed his own unease about feeling watched. Surprisingly, Drakoros echoed the same sentiment.
That meant they weren't alone – someone was observing them. Ron decided they should embark together on a crystal hunt the next day. Night fell, but Ron found no peace in slumber. His mind incessantly circled around who might be watching them. Perhaps, on their quest for crystals the next day, they would find answers.
