Chereads / His DESIRED MAN [BL] / Chapter 55 - CHAPTER 55: TOUCH OF HUMANITY

Chapter 55 - CHAPTER 55: TOUCH OF HUMANITY

The man's voice was extremely low and cold, and his gaze towards him was tinged with a subtle, chilly darkness.

"Sky," he said.

He wasn't hungry, and it had nothing to do with him. It was just that he couldn't help but think of the night when Dray had a stomachache.

In his heart, Sky silently told himself that if Dray didn't eat dinner and his stomach became uncomfortable again when he returned to the room, he would be the one dealing with it.

After all, he was sharing a bed with him.

"Master Li isn't hungry, but he should still eat a little. Otherwise, if this goes on for too long, he might...well, he might get stomach problems," he said softly, tactfully urging him.

Sky didn't want Dray to think that he was meddling in his affairs. Otherwise, he would mock him again for overstepping his bounds.

However, as soon as he finished speaking, Dray's dark eyes narrowed dangerously, and a hint of obscure emotion flickered in his gaze.

How did this man know about his old stomach problems?

The man's narrow eyes glinted dangerously.

Mr. Lee had taken a liking to Sky in the Kin family, and his grandfather had also approved of him.

It was all so coincidental...

But in this world, where did such coincidences come from?

For a moment, Dray's cold and ruthless gaze fixed on Sky's slender and fair neck, and his eyes were filled with a chilling coldness.

Dray's gaze was deep and unfathomable as he evaluated whether or not he should keep him by his side. He had a dangerous urge to snap his delicate, perfect neck.

"Do you want me to make you a bowl of noodles instead?" Sky's hesitant voice suddenly broke the silence.

"Noodles are easier to digest... I'm just not sure what side dishes we have that would go well with them," he murmured, tilting his head slightly and looking at him with a curious expression.

Dray remained stoic for three seconds before the image of the food Sky had cooked for them that night flashed through his mind. He had to admit that even though the presentation wasn't as good as that of a five-star chef, or even Aunt Mary's cooking, the taste was exactly to his liking.

There was an indescribable, soul-satisfying flavor to it, just like the man in front of him.

"Sure," he finally replied.

After a brief silence, Dray nodded faintly and snorted coldly, tacitly agreeing to Sky's proposal.

As Sky was about to get up, Dray suddenly added in a cold tone, "Don't make it too heavy and don't add any spice."

Sky was taken aback for a moment, then smiled and said, "Okay."

But as he was about to leave, Dray's face darkened and he added in a cold voice, "And...I don't eat onions."

It turned out that Dray also had his own dietary restrictions and was quite picky.

Sky had originally thought that Dray was a cold and emotionless person, even a bit terrifying.

But in this moment, perhaps it was his dietary habits that gave him a different impression.

Sky suddenly felt that Master Li, who seemed so aloof, had gained a touch of humanity.

"Okay, I got it...Master Li, wait for me, I'll be back soon."
