Every matter has its advantages and disadvantages; there is no such thing as an absolute benefit without harm. As such, the Path of Qi Refinement also has its limitations. One of them is the extremely demanding requirement for talent in the later stages. To achieve something on this path, one must have an exceptionally high demand for one's own understanding and wisdom. Understanding is understanding, realization is realization, but if one does not comprehend, even if someone explains it word by word, enlightenment cannot be attained.
The final Path of Spirit Refinement, in Pei Xuanjing's view, is both mysterious and a path that opens the door wide to cultivation, allowing countless people to enter.
