Although respectful of the actions of these senior True Immortals, for they have established countless merits in the pioneering of the human race, this does not mean that the likes of Great White Star Lord and his younger peers have not thought about surpassing them.
Once, they knew of the power of True Immortals and understood that being one step behind meant being behind at every step. They believed that even if they one day stepped onto the Immortal Path, it would still be difficult to catch up with the pace of these senior True Immortals.
A strong being can be confident, but they cannot be blindly confident. The depth of accumulation these senior True Immortals possess, the lead they have in terms of time, the resources and fortuitous opportunities they occupy, are unimaginably fundamental.
