The "Book of Meridians" from Zhizhen Palace and Shenzhen Palace, while referred to as two volumes, were actually derived from a single volume. Yet again, while they seemed to come from one volume, they were distinct versions.
Although both were titled "Book of Meridians," it was clear from the wording and many overlapping quoted sections that they should originate from the same set of incomplete scriptures. It was the experts from both Zhizhen and Shenzhen Palaces who independently inferred and supplemented the texts, resulting in two different versions: "True Meridian" and "Divine True Meridian."
