Unfortunately, even though the "What To Do" system had honestly explained what to do, when it came to "why," they each gave one line of response: "You'll understand once you've reached the enlightenment realm." "You don't have to return if you don't want to, we won't force you." And with that, Li Fan was dismissed.
But since it wasn't mandatory, Li Fan couldn't help but start missing Earth again.
Even just snacking on junk food, sipping on carbonated drinks, lounging on the couch playing video games to pass the time—those mundane moments were actually pretty nostalgic. Who doesn't have family and friends they can't bear to part with? If it was really possible to travel back and forth whenever, like going on vacation... that wouldn't be so bad, would it?
Li Fan scratched his head, but honestly speaking, the fact that both the system and that creepy thing were interested in "going to Earth," and not just any Earth, was truly spine-chilling.
