Now that the fatal injury to the Daoist avatar was stabilized, Li Fan planned on using his clone for the second step of the rescue – setting up a Supreme Heavenly Magic Formation, bringing his true self to pay homage to the moon, and allowing the Primordial Infant to recover as quickly as possible. After all, this clone was created using the special effects of a Daoist robe and would dissipate upon receiving a fatal injury. Additionally, it continued to deplete the Primordial True Essence, so he could not afford to delay any longer.
Unfortunately, this clone possessed no magical powers or cultivation; it was merely a copy of the Daoist body with some muscular strength. Hence, Li Fan could not employ any escape techniques and had to make an underwater escape. To his even greater surprise, as he swam slowly towards Yulin Estate, he suddenly spotted three sword lights dive into the sea, plunging straight into the estate!
