Li Fan silently counted seconds in his heart, step by step, he made his way deeper into the cabins of the ancient spaceship.
Nothing happened, at least not yet, as he was still free to let his thoughts run wild without suddenly turning into ash with a "poof!" sound. Things seemed to be alright then. He had grown numb to the danger, after all, and since he was already inside, he figured he might as well go with the flow.
Clutching the crystal block in his hand, which still faintly glowed, Li Fan used it to light his way as he ventured further into the cabin. He looked around as he went, but found no patterns, decorations, inscriptions, or any man-made items that could give clues. Not even a speck of dust. The place was as clean and empty as an unfinished house, suggesting that this might just be the ship's bare structure.
However, it wasn't accurate to say he had discovered nothing. After walking in for two minutes, Li Fan had made some speculations.
