The merchant ships from the various islands and continents of the South Sea kept their distance, watching as the Lu Family burned in flames, counselling caution and self-preservation. They had completely lost their backbone and there was no longer any talk of solidarity or alliance.

After all, the Lu Family's rise to power in the South Sea was a not-so-bad outcome for the Immortal Palace. But with the Lu Family's destruction, the South Sea became a scattering of sand—hardly a bad situation either.
