Catherine Carter gave him a look and said solemnly, "You can't even beat your own 'Shadow'; do you think we can escape?"
Grousing aside.
Since she had chosen to come along, she intended to help.

The two walked away.
Leonard glanced at the two retreating figures as if the matter didn't concern him and asked, "Did you notice anything?"
Catherine: "There is a bit of a problem."
