His perfect disguise and performance, naturally, were flawless.
Originally, he wanted to use these conversations to learn about Upper State Prison in advance, but as he chatted, he discovered a few problems.
These people wouldn't talk about anything related to the prison.
Even when they occasionally let something slip, it felt not that they didn't want to say but rather that they genuinely didn't know anything.
It was all about delivering the goods and then leaving.
