He was an apprentice card master with curse power level six, following the "fighter" path, and his nerve response time and burst muscle power were many times more potent than an ordinary man.
His ultimate dodge led the bullets, initially aimed at his chest, to miss; one shot whiffed entirely and the other hit his shoulder.
The bullet passed through his shoulder.
Also, as an Extraordinary Man, his tenacity was far superior to that of ordinary men, thus the gunshot wound wasn't very damaging.
