A day later,
The Star-piercer train was speeding, crossing almost half of the Dark Star Region, the scenery on the road becoming more and more magical, and Gary Smith had witnessed even stranger ecosystems.
He saw Meteorite Humans, who looked like meteorites, but had slender legs, constantly collecting starlight to build their own houses.
There were also the Wandering Starfish, which would hide underground during the day, breathing through their special gills, but at night they would float up, swimming among the starlight.
They would glow to display their charm, seeking for suitable mates to breed with, consuming minute Starlight Mayfly lives in the process, or they would be hunted by other creatures.
This formed a cyclic food chain!
In the process, Gary Smith tasted the Travelling Starfish Eggs made into special food, trying once and finding it to be juicy, and after careful chewing, it felt like jelly.
The taste was not particularly good, but it was new and novel.
