High School Principal Oliver Gauss of Meteor Star City couldn't resist making a jab, then looked at Elliot Pine, who was grinning from ear to ear, and fearing Elliot might retaliate with a sneak attack, he stepped back a bit and continued:
"Don't think you're invincible just because you have a Gary Smith. The first round is all about luck. No matter how strong he is, can he withstand the onslaught of twenty Red Flood Dragon Snakes?"
Saying this, he assumed a defensive posture, always prepared for an infuriated Elliot's assault.
However, to his surprise, Elliot wasn't angry at all. Instead, he said nonchalantly, "Why don't we make a bet on how far Gary can go? Before entering the Secret Realm, it was estimated that he would reach the fourth level. Let's bet on the third level!"
