Today was a beautiful day.
Waking from a comfortable dream, she opened her eyes to the bright sunlight filtering through the gap in the thick curtains, then rolled over, turning her back to the light, and closed her eyes for a little more rest.
It wasn't until fifteen minutes later that she lazily climbed out of bed, donning her thin nightgown, and walked out of the bedroom to start her day's work.
