Surprised, he had initially thought that coming up with a solution for the "heart-stealing monster" first meant he was extremely quick to react. He hadn't expected that all of it was a ruse and a trap set up by the heart-stealing monster, and even less so that it was actually a trap laid by the Beast Tamer.
He stood on the third layer, the heart-stealing monster on the fourth, but the Beast Tamer stood on the fifth. When exactly did that guy start to grasp the third layer's solution?
