However, the outcome was somewhat beyond his expectation, as Romeo Sora noted that not only was there no longing or shock in David Jones's eyes, but a hint of helplessness flashed across them instead.

Noticing Grau's eager gaze, David Jones rubbed his forehead somewhat speechlessly.
If Level IX immortal resources were so easily obtained, the membership spots for the God Call Association would have long been divided up by legendary powerhouses.
But one thing David Jones could be certain of was that the God Call Association having the means to offer its members access to exchange for immortal resources indicated that the organization held a pivotal position within the Federation of Trainer Guilds. It wouldn't hurt to learn more about it!
