The numbers on the big screen changed extremely slowly.
David Jones, who had never seen his number, sat in his chair and looked around in boredom. He then noticed a few familiar faces - his classmates from the Trainer Course.
"It looks like they chose the same as me, not continuing with Mr. Job's lessons and instead thinking that cultivating alone was more efficient."
Seeing his raucous classmates in the distance, David had no interest in coming forward and saying hello.
After all, David had had a conflict with Timothy Cooper, which led to almost no communication between the two in class. They were essentially acquaintances and strangers.
Approaching them for no reason would inevitably be awkward.
David sat and waited in the hall for more than half an hour, and as he saw the number of people in the hall gradually decreasing, he became restless.
David complained to himself, "Is this what she meant by 'just wait a little while'? It's been almost an hour!"
