Reluctantly glancing at the surrounding pet resources, David Jones returned to his private room on the third floor.
He had no choice, as his account had been completely drained of star coins. Even if he found desirable resources later, he wouldn't be able to afford them, which would only add to his troubles. It's better to be out of sight, out of mind.
"Isn't she back yet?"
Looking at the empty luxurious private room, David Jones chose to close his eyes and cultivate through Calm Mind meditation.
There was still an hour before the main event of the auction began. The remaining time was perfect for cultivation.
Time slowly passed, and the door to the private room was gently opened at some point.
"Buzz, buzz, buzz." David's alarm clock went off.
