David decided to wait for the Illusion Star Stone to finish gestating.
He hoped everything would go smoothly.
If it didn't congeal before the match ended, David would have to retrieve it early.
Although doing so would reduce the effects of the Illusion Star Stone, there was nothing else he could do.
