The middle-aged man observed the doubts on Milton Cheney and Piers's faces, then turned his gaze towards Milton.
He then started to speak, "This rule does really exist within the Soul Academy. I have no reason to deceive you."
When the middle-aged man finished speaking, Piers seemed to react similarly, and spoke out:
"Why haven't I heard of a rule that allowed those with talents exceeding eight grids to directly enter the Soul Academy Headquarters, even though I had participated in the assessment of the Soul Academy before?"
Piers's doubts were reasonable.
He had not lied to Milton, he indeed participated in the entrance examination of the Soul Academy when he was young.
He also underwent a talent test, but he had never heard of any privileges granted due to talents.
So he was taken aback when he heard what the middle-aged examiner said.
Because he was actually not aware of this, if he had known, he wouldn't have had to go to such great lengths.
