In reality, there's nothing wrong with them; they've simply lost the early advantage brought by their racial skills.
For others, upon reaching junior officer level, most Spirit Binders only have about four racial skills at their disposal.
Remove the easily replicated racial skills, and the truly useful racial skills are whittled down to only one or two, or perhaps even none at all.
But for you, possessing a full eight racial skills—even after weeding some out—the number of useful racial skills you have left is still quite substantial.
This isn't necessarily a good thing, because if you have an excess of skills, you'll find yourself pondering over choices during combat, which is doubtlessly a burden and an encumbrance.
However, this isn't entirely a bad thing either.
