The residence of the President of the Republic of Da Hua has a beautiful name, called Mei Mansion, because "Mei," which means beautiful, is part of the First Lady's name.
The presidential residence is located in the southwest corner of the Spring Palace, which, five thousand years ago, was the harem of Emperor Gengshi and also the power center of the Dahua Heavenly Dynasty.
Now, five thousand years have passed, and this place has once again become the dwelling of the most powerful person in Da Hua, and once again, the center of power in Da Hua.
However, the construction, or rather the renovation, of the residence did not take long; it was only completed last year. The conversion of Emperor Gengshi's former palace into the President's residence had caused quite a stir in Da Hua.
