Rong Wei drove a brand-new Benz sedan, whose luxurious interior was in no way inferior to Du Wenqiang's vehicle.
With Rong Wei at the wheel and Shu Guan in the co-pilot seat, the sedan sped through the streets of Shen City.
It was apparent that Rong Wei's mind was elsewhere; he nearly hit pedestrians several times. After leaving Duolun Alley, he drove for about twenty minutes before stopping outside a quiet lane.
Shu Guan looked out of the car window and saw a street sign at the entrance that read "Huifang Lane," a place as tranquil as Duolun Alley.
Rong Wei parked the car at the entrance but did not immediately get out. Instead, he turned to Shu Guan with an awkward smile and said,
"Brother-in-law, I suddenly don't feel like having dinner with those friends anymore. Let's leave, and I'll take you to Dexing Restaurant for eight-treasure duck instead."
"Since we are here, let's stay here,"
Shu Guan replied with a smile.
