Logan and Maya Leaf couldn't resist exchanging glances, smiling at each other, with Maya Leaf even offering praise.
"It seems you have taken Brother Logan's words to heart, good, I believe in you, Lexi Carr, farewell."
Lexi's eyes seemed to shimmer with unshed tears as she took a deep look at the two of them and nodded before leaving.
Maya watched his retreating figure, then quickly withdrew her gaze and turned to Logan.
"Now it's just the two of us left."
Logan nodded.
"Hmm, but people always come and go, there's no need for sadness or joy. I believe that one day, there will be a time when we meet again."
Maya shrugged meaningfully and spoke.
"Actually, I'm not that sad, I'm quite happy, with Lexi gone, now only I will stay by your side."
Logan seemed to catch the deeper meaning but did not respond.
Seeing this, Maya lowered her eyelids, slightly disappointed, but quickly regained her cheerful and optimistic demeanor.
