Director Phoenix arrived at the Showcase Club, which had just recently opened for business.
As he walked in, he saw a Mushroom Person drinking mushroom coffee and reading a newspaper, and a Straw Man who was passionately mopping the floor in the grand hall near the front desk.
Noticing someone at the front desk, the Mushroom Person's head popped up from behind the newspaper.
"Hello, I'm looking for Peerless Show."
"Huh? Who?"
"Peerless Show."
"You've got the wrong place; we don't have anyone like that here."
"Um, isn't this the Showcase Club?"
Director Phoenix stepped outside and looked up at the sign, confirming that it was indeed the Showcase Club.
What was going on? Had they changed owners?
"Yes, that's right."
"Then isn't Peerless Show your curator?"
"Well, our curator is called Show Director, not Peerless Show."
"..."
(What kind of lousy front desk staff doesn't even know who their curator is?)
Director Phoenix silently complained.
