So the two of them reached an agreement and formed an alliance.
While walking through the statues with Daniel Smith, Ree Shil was formulating a battle plan.
Ree Shil: "Actually, we don't have to stay in front of a statue and just observe the defender."
Daniel Smith: "Oh? Why is that?"
Ree Shil: "The defender is always moving, and the more they successfully defend, the greater the chance their card deck is exposed. Then more people will want to challenge them, and we may not be able to get in line."
Daniel Smith: "So if they have zero successful defenses or have just succeeded in a challenge, we may lose if we rashly challenge them because we don't know their cards well enough?"
Ree Shil: "That's the general idea, and you're not too stupid."
Daniel Smith: "I was never stupid, okay! I just can't calculate scores, can't build card decks, and can't predict the opponent's moves."
Ree Shil: "…Isn't that the same as being stupid?"
Daniel Smith: "…Just tell me your plan."
