"Sir, you're here," said Nolin, busy at the craftsman table. She turned her head to see Noland Lee descending from the ceiling.
She pointed to the strange object in the center of the table:
"Look, this is the simplified version of the energy-neutralizing pulse projector. Actually, calling it a simplified version might be an overestimate. Its power is less than one ten-thousandth of what it would be under normal conditions.
"Moreover, I can't guarantee that it's 100% effective. Because when I was building it, I didn't have sufficient technological facilities, and I could only use alchemy to try to replicate it as best I could."
Noland Lee came over to the table and gazed at the object on it.
This item stood about half a meter tall, with a strong and heavy square base, and atop the base rose a pitchfork-like metal object.
Rings of glass strips extended upwards from the "tuning fork" ends.
