Outside the Human Realm.
A group of Demon Emperors, having just lost most of their fortunes and fallen into enormous debt, fled in disarray until they were beyond the reach of the light from the human world. Only then did they slowly stop their Escape Light.
What followed was a silent mutual glance, wordless and somber.
No demon felt like speaking; for a time, they didn't even know what to say.
Finally, one of the Demon Emperors spoke out.
"This Great Loving Emperor has bullied our kind too far, disregarding his status as a Daoist Venerable and using his power to oppress the weakâdetestable, truly detestable!"
The voice was filled with frustration and helplessness.
The big fish eats the little fish; having presented themselves, they were utterly devoured, with no room to argue their case.
