Chapter 2 - Winner

The deafening roar of the crowd engulfed me as the bell rang. My opponent, a giant of a man with a grin that oozed confidence, stood before me. We touched gloves, a customary gesture in this brutal dance, but all I could focus on was the intensity in his eyes. The bell rang, and the fight was on.

His first jab came fast, a piston-like punch that threatened to knock my head clean off. I ducked and weaved, avoiding his strikes by a hair's breadth. My heart pounded in my chest, and adrenaline surged through my veins.

In the midst of all this chaos, I remembered the countless hours of training, the sweat and tears that had brought me to this moment. I couldn't afford to lose. Not now. Not when everything I had dreamed of was within reach.

The first round was a whirlwind of fists, a clash of power and strategy. He circled me, using his height advantage to keep me at bay. But I knew I couldn't let him dictate the pace. I needed to seize control.

With a burst of energy, I lunged forward, my gloves meeting his in a thunderous collision. We traded blows, each punch resonating through my arms and rattling my bones. I landed a solid left hook to his jaw, and the crowd erupted in cheers. I could do this. I could win.

As the second round hit, things were becoming different. My opponent came back with a vengeance, launching an onslaught of punches that I struggled to fend off. Pain radiated through my body as I blocked and dodged, but I refused to yield. I fought back, landing hooks and crosses that sent shockwaves through his defenses.

By the end of the second round, we were both battered and bruised, but I wasn't about to let up. This was my chance, my moment to prove myself to the world.

The third and final round was a test of sheer willpower. We moved with caution, each punch carrying the weight of our determination. My ribs ached from the blows I'd taken, but I pushed through the pain. This was my dream, and I wasn't about to let it slip away.

As the seconds ticked down, I summoned every ounce of strength left in me. I unleashed a furious flurry of punches, and for a moment, I saw doubt flicker in my opponent's eyes. He stumbled back, and then, with the ringing of the bell, it was over.

The referee raised our hands, and the crowd erupted into a deafening roar. I had won my professional debut!

"Yeah... I did it, I actually won," I whispered to myself, the realization sinking in. A wave of elation washed over me, and I couldn't help but believe in my potential to become a future star in the world of boxing.

A slender man, clad entirely in black with dark sunglasses perched on his nose, glanced at his companion, who wore a strikingly similar ensemble. Their expressions spoke of disbelief and concern as they witnessed Kai's unexpected victory.

"That wasn't supposed to happen, was it?" the slender man asked in hushed tones, his voice tinged with unease.

"No," the taller, more muscular figure replied curtly, his brows furrowing in consternation.

"Well... I suppose we'll need to take action before the upperman learns about this," the slender man suggested, a hint of urgency in his voice.
