"Steven had gotten over himself and now looked over to where the two remaining bandits were holding the young lady. They had let go of her and she was running toward Steven who had saved her. Seeing that their leader was dead and their comrades were wounded, the bandits decided to flee from the scene. They mounted their horses and galloped away, leaving behind a trail of dust and curses.
The young lady reached Steven and threw her arms around him. She was sobbing with relief and gratitude. "Thank you, thank you so much! You are my hero!" she exclaimed. Steven felt a surge of warmth in his chest. He hugged her back and smiled. "It's okay, you're safe now. What's your name?" he asked.
She looked up at him with her big brown eyes. "I'm Lila. Another person was running towards her, it was the village head. Lila are you ok, are you hurt he asked worried about his daughter.
So she is your daughter, well I guess you would have to give us that carriage then; Elijah said with a smile.
"Well you did save her from the bandits, you have my thanks" The village head ordered some men to get them a carriage with two horses and some supplies for his journey. The least he could do was to give them what they asked for.
They accepted it and thanked the village head for what he had done. They got on the carriage and continued their journey. "what about your boat"? No that was not mine, I just took it in one of the ports when I was headed for your village to sleep for the night; Elijah answered.
While they were on the road, Steven received a system notification that his quest had been completed.

"Soon, I will be at level two," he thought to himself, as he checked his status screen. He wondered what new skills and abilities he would unlock then.
As they were going, Steven could see a large town in sight. It was surrounded by a high stone wall that gleamed in the sunlight. He could make out the shapes of towers, domes, and spires rising above the wall, as well as the flags of different nations fluttering in the breeze. He wondered what secrets and wonders the town held within its gates.
The carriage approached the main entrance, where a guard stopped them and asked who they were. "Hello Peter". Peter was the name of the guard at the gate. Elijah, you are back from your journey; Peter said. "And who is this by your side"
"This is Steven, and he is with me". Peter looked at Steven
"Welcome to Glympton," he said,
The guard waved them through, and the carriage entered the town. Steven gasped as he saw the sights that greeted him. The streets were paved with cobblestones and lined with trees and flowers. The buildings were made of brick, stone, wood, or glass, each one displaying a unique style and design. He saw people of all races, religions, and backgrounds walking, talking, laughing, or working together. He smelled the aroma of different cuisines from various taverns and stalls. He heard the sounds of music, and laughter filling the air.
He felt a surge of excitement and curiosity as he realized he was in a place unlike any other he had ever seen. He couldn't wait to explore and discover more about this amazing town. He leaned out of the window and asked Elijah.
"Where are we going?" You are going to my house, Steven. I live in the center of Glympton; Elijah answered.
They got to the center of the town, and Steven could see beautiful houses with crystals. Then their carriage stopped at a beautiful house, which looked as beautiful as the rest of the houses at the center of Glympton.
"Why is it that the center of Glympton looks more beautiful than other parts of the town". That is because it is where all the beast hunters of Glympton are. And beast hunters are very well respected; Elijah answered
They had entered inside the house, and Steven felt like a younger brother moving into his older brother's house. Make yourself feel at home, tomorrow I am going to introduce you to the other hunters and our leader. The night sky is already out so, get some rest.
Steven had gotten into one of the rooms, and was wondering if Elijah stay in the house all by himself. He went for a bath and got downstairs so he could have dinner.
The food was already on the table as Steven has started to eat his food. Same as always, the way Steven eats always gets the attention of Elijah. But he didn't have to worry about that as he has more important thing to talk about.
"Since you want be became an hunter, you will have to train hard from now on. Because you killed a low level beast does not make you an hunter just yet. I will transfer some KI energy to you now and give you some martial art books so that you can learn before the exam".
An exam? Just how hard is this exam; Steven asked out of curiosity.
"Well if you don't train hard you will fail the exam and will never be recognized as a beast hunter. Now get in a meditating position".
Steven did as he was asked to do and Elijah placed his hand on his back and transfered Ki energy to him.

Now go to sleep training starts tomorrow. Steven went upstairs and laid on his bed and starting to think about how his life is about to change. He always wanted to become a beast hunter, but he didn't expect it to come sooner than expected. Before he knew it, he had slept off.
