Inside the quiet compound of the small winter cabin, Eldric sat cross-legged. He was calm, his breathing regulated as he breathed slowly with a fixed rhythm. The soft sounds of birds calling and singing could be heard in the background, yet the man did not even blink at the sound.
He was focused and in sync with his movements. He had felt it; he was nearing the stage where he would level up. He had swiftly secluded himself in an attempt to push his breakthrough and thus had spent hours in a meditative pose, focusing solely on pushing his energy to the limits.
With that one sole focus in mind, a swirl of elements fluttered in the air, forming a cortex above his head before it disappeared without a trace as if it had not even appeared.
After the elements disappeared, Eldric opened his eyes slowly, a soft smile etched onto his face as he stood up from his position.
